for those who have made their own diapers...

i think i want to try my hand at sewing a few diapers.  i've got the patterns etc so i'm set, but i really want to come up with my own design.  how do you come up with a template that says this is my NB size and it fits this weight to this weight and this is my small and it fits this weight to this weight etc.  does that make sense?

 It's a lot of trial and error.  You can ask other people what their baby's measurements are.

 I placed the different sized cloth diapers I made in different colored plastic boxes.  That way I know when they outgrew a size I could just move up to the next bunch.  I also labeled them in case I forgot what size goes in which box it helps me stay organized and it may help you.  Good luck

I open up tester spots to my customers. Then I get as many out there to try them out and see what seems to fit. It can take awhile and you can charge a small fee to coer materials as a tester.
