Hey all. I've always had to use clomid/prometrium to get/stay pregnant. I have three little girls. My problem is luteal phase defect, with my lp somewhere around 7 days. I tried soy and vitamin C (along with my usual b6) this month to try and see if I could get pg w/out clomid. I'm 2dpo so we'll see. :) But I'm sure my ob will want me back on clomid when I talk to him tomorrow. I've had three m/c and to him (and me too) it's not worth the risk of another miscarriage to try without that combo. The good news is that I've been pregnant five out of seven times on it, and one of those failed two was following a m/c.
So. We REALLY want a little boy! (not that I don't love my girls...and we'd be happy with another) My usual regime when on clomid is:
100mg b6
2 cups green tea till O (my cm on clomid sucks and the green tea really seems to help)
3000mg epo (did I mention my cm sucks on clomid? lol)
AND this cycle I am trying 1000mg vitamin C to see if it helps my lp. (per this study http://sitemaker.umich.edu/rei/files/vitc_lpd.pdf )
DH is also taking 550mg Korean Ginseng a day for the last month as well.
I'm a complete swaying virgin and would love some advice! If I do have to go back on clomid, what can I possibly do? Thanks!
