I miss you all!

Hey girls! I hope you all and your babies are doing well! I miss you guys! I haven't been around much but I wanted to check on ya'll and see how you were doing.  I have had a bit of ppd and trying to get over it.  Laney is doing well but started staying up a bit more during the night plus my 1 1/2 year old has been waking up so I feel like a zombie lately lol

I miss you guys and want to see more pics of those beautiful babies! If any of you have facebook and I haven't already added you, I would love to

I feel like a zombie most days as well because Violet is waking up every 2-3 hours at night.

Miss you too and everyone else! I'm sorry that your are dealing with ppd. I hope you manage to get on top of it quickly. I had it after ds2 and it was the worst period of my life xxx And I hope your littlies settle in to a nice sleep routine for you soon. That makes evrything harder when you are sleep deprived. Baby chook and crew are plodding along ok (atm!) love to add you to FB if you're interested.

i'm sorry your dealing with ppd and night wakings. It isnt fun. I can relate to the zombie effect. Not to mention the no sit down syndrome. I sometimes forget I have to go to the bathroom lol ...Glad you checked in, I havent been on much either. Seth wakes quite often, I cant even describe it. either every hr, every 2 hrs or all the time.

Are you all making any plans for Halloween? Anyone thinking about Christmas yet?

We don't do Halloween over here (even though my kids wish we did). Christmas I am sort of thinking of as I want everything done by the end of November so I don't have to deal with Christmas craziness in December. It gets pretty horrid! Plus the kids will be on school holidays which will make it impossible to get shopping done anyway. So I just have to think about what they are going to get and then I need to get organised and go shopping!

Hey ladies. I have been a little depressed but nothing major. I have also not been getting sleep because of me, Eric j most of the time sleeps well. I just need to calm down. 

 

As for Halloween my oldest is not dressing up but making tye dye shirts with same pants. My 8 year old Amari' will be a ghost, My 3 year old Eniyah will be a Witch and Eric J is going as a Spider.

 

I am pretty close to being done Xmas shopping. Will def be done by first or two week of November. We got the big gifts already just getting small stuff and gifts which is pretty easy we only have to buy for 7 people.

I was very tearful in the first couple of weeks when the feeding was so painful, but that is much better now, I am feeling very positive, we all seem to be settling back down now, ds4 who was so unsettled is now much, much better, no longer getting up in the night generally (although he did last night, lol, ended up asleep on our floor!!)

It is not nice when you feel low, I hope it passes quickly

 glad to hear from you (all)- i've been unable to get on here much, too... i've been using the FP rock 'n play sleeper for nighttime & think it's helped tons. she was sleeping anywhere from 5-8+ hrs atnight until she caught my cold. but, she's still doing better than my boys ever did (2-3 hrs for over a year!), so we're happy.

sure hope you're feeling better! Hugs!!! 

Oh my gosh guys.....

I'm so glad you all made this post. I've been MIA on here for the past 4 weeks! Since Violet was born, really. It's so hard. Everything is nowadays. I've been trying to get caught up on laundry and vaccum the living room for a week now. 

The only reason I can post on FB is because I can do it so easily from my phone. Ingender is hard to get to most times and I just end up giving up because it will lock up or something and my phone will give me error messages. Argh.

Violet has had a cold for the past 4 days and my nights have been CRAZY with her. I thought I was literally gonna rip my clothes off and run out of the house last night. Three nights of little to no sleep really did a number on me. I hate it. She did much better last night, therefore I feel better today.

So glad to here how everyone else is doing. I'm not sure if I should post here or on the October board since she was born in October! But I like posting here for sure because I went through my pregnancy with you ladies! I want to add all of you to my FB if I can sometime.

Well, my house is a wreck, I have flies in my kitchen, my van stinks (and I stink too ), but I still feel blessed to have this little baby girl in my life. She is changing every day and I love watching that. Her behaviors (sleeping, napping, feeding, waking) are all changing too and it's kinda weird. I don't remember that with the others. Oh well. She will be 4 weeks old tomorrow!!!!!! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
