My sister's u/s tech said 50/50. I posted in the u/s section too but thought the more opinion the better! She is 18 wks due end of Feb so I though maybe you ladies could help us! This is my first niece or nephew and the not knowing is killing us both

Wow- that's a tough one. The three lines really do look like a girl. But the first pic I was CERTAIN it was a boy. I'm guessing that was the umbilical cord in that picture? I would think the tech would have had a better guess- its what she does! My girls three little lines looked a lot more obvious to us- so I am really torn on this one!

I say boy too especially since the tech assured her that was NOT umbilical cord. Ekkk her and I are dying to know if my son will have a little boy or girl cousin to play with!
If the tech assured her it was not the umbilical cord than I would say 98% Boy! Unless she's got twins in there and there getting shots of each baby!!

I thought the first shot looked like cord but I'm not a tech!! I'd have to go 50/50 too sorry.

Very confused about the pictures myself as well. Can the doctor perform another ultrasound? If the doctor can't, I would just go to a private ultrasound place to find out once and for all. Wish I could help

Estimated due date is February 1st 2011, but he might be a January boy! Who knows?
Thankful to God to have a princess and now a finally expecting a little prince!

Really tricky! First pics look very much like a boy, but then other pics are girlie. Absolutely no idea, sorry x

The thing with the boy pics is you see no scrotum it may very well bw a boy I just dont see the scrotum that you normally see in boy shots

I think the scrotum often descends later than 18 weeks so that could be it. I'd be asking for a rescan!!

Haha yeah her tech couldn't make heads or tails of it either but did tell my sister she was leaning boy.
My sister got a rescan...100% BOY! So excited to have our boys only 3 weeks apart in age
