No need to worry, I didn't think it was rude at all. The doctors didn't even know she has DS until she was about 3 weeks old. Her pediatrician says she can see it a little around the eyes, and sometimes I can too but I think it's only because I know she has it. I don't know. Thank you, I think she is completely adorable myself but then again I'm a little biased. LOL As for her heart problems, eventually they can be corrected with surgery but we don't know when/if her cardiologist will do it. The main one that's keeping her on the oxygen is a PDA valve that all babies have in the womb but it's supposed to close at birth. Hers is still open and we were told that as long as it wasn't causing major problems they wouldn't fix it until she was 5yrs old. We do not know what degree of DS she has and wont until she gets to the more major milestones such as sitting, talking, walking, that sort of thing. So we have to wait and see but she is doing great right now. Hopefully the oxygen goes soon because I woke up the other day and the tubing was wrapped around her neck, freaked me out!
