Hi ladies!
I am a new visitor to this wonderful forum. My name is Teagan and I live in Australia and am currently 11 weeks pregnant. After doing the TMPOB test I received my results via email on Friday, even though I requested it through the mail. It wouldnt even show up on the website after I put my 2 codes in for a week! So I contacted them and she sent me the results and well..................... Im having another boy. My 11 month old is a boy and my heart just sank, I was so apprhensive to open it, totally thinkin for sure it's a girl this time. I still dont believe it as we tried the Shettles method and BD 2 days prior to ov and I did the douche and made hubby take hot bath 5 mins beforehand and my PH was in the right range. I just know in my heart this ones a girl, just gut feeling. With my son I dreamt I was having a little red haired boy and yup I have a little adorable boy with red hair, had a dream recently that I had a girl and I was so happy in the dream.
I havent stopped crying all weekend and the guilt I feel is enormous, which is what prompted me to Google the accuracy of TMPOB and I found all of you lovely people and how so many of you have had wrong results with this stupid company. I am so hopeful that they may have stuffed up with me as well. We conceived 9 months after havin my boy so there may have been some y DNA left over for him and I did take the test very early at 8 weeks. For those of you that you were told boy then u/s confirmed girl, did you just have that womens intuition that it was a girl? Cos i seriously think deep down that I am having a much longed for daughter and it has never been stronger than now after being told boy. As one of 3 girls I always thought I would have a little princess and am getting so jealous when I see mums with their little girls. I am so happy reading that some of you got your girl dream and I am still hanging onto that same dream, and if they have got it wrong then they have seriously messed with my mind. Can you get an accurate gender reading by u/s at 15 weeks?
I look forward to your replies and support and please, please send me as much pink dust as possible. Thanks for listening to my ramble, my heart is truly breaking at the moment.

Thanks Dazie!
I will definitley keep you posted, it's early days yet so I will ask my OB what he thinks at my 15 week check up and keep praying that theres a chance some pink may be added to our family. I cant imagine how you must feel being so excited to be told a girl by TMPOB and u/s saying boy, does it become easier to accept over time for you bond with the little man inside you? I dont know how the people that work for this corporation sleep at night. By the way I love the names of your boys!

I know they really do cause so much hurt and then just say u fell into the 4% who get it wrong ... Well everyone on here must be in that 4% too .... Yeah it was totally devestating but I was so glad I found this site because it prepared me for the fact it could be wrong .... Thanx about the name my hubby isn't 100% convinced about Finn for our newest arrival but I'm workin on him xxx

Geez, I could have written your post. I took TMPOB at exactly 10wks (this pregnancy) and got a boy result. My only DS will be 3 in January. I searched for accuracy and came across this forum, since then, I've stalked them ;). Everyone here is so supportive and wonderful, Dazie gave me so much help when I was waiting for my results. I've had two scans, one a 14 1/2 wks and one at 18 1/2 weeks both say Girl. Like you I felt it in my gut. I've also posted my ultrasound pics on here and the ladies are 100% sure. Still because TMPOB said boy, I have doubts. I'm so angry at them, and found so many people that got wrong results. Maybe if they advertised 60% accuracy it would be more likely. If you are pregnant with a boy, TMPOB did not guess medically correctly, they just made a LUCKY guess. You could just as easily be pregnant with a girl. Try to forget about this test!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also I would try a scan at 15wks, at the very least, they may be able to relieve some stress either way. Keep us updated, I will continue to look for your posts

Hi thanks Katesdreamgirl and Chloe36!
Im so happy youre both getting little girls well done! Wow thats so funny cos I really wanted to name my boy Rowan but hubby and I said we will see if he has red hair when he was born cos apparantly Rowan means 'little red haired one'. So when he came out he had black hair, and not being sure what colour it would turn we decided on Owen. And you like Teagan, oh thats so cool, Ive always liked my name, get Teagy for short. Thanks for sharing your thoughts girls, I know with time I will get used to the idea of another baby boy and will see the advantages of having two boys close in age. My first was an unplanned c/sec and im hoping this one wont be either so that we can have 3 or 4 safely, hubs is so supportive and said we would keep going till we got our girl. He said he would feel the same way if he never got a son, I cant believe how good he is to me. I really love that I can talk freely about this as my sis in law has 3 girls and she gets very shitty when I say how much i would love a daughter she just says very bluntly "We get what we are given, u shouldnt have any more kids if you only want a girl", doesnt understand at all. When Im around her its like a slap in the face, seeing her 3 little girls running around and playing, although I admit theyre not a quiet bunch of girls. Its funny how I automatically stereotype gender.
Talk soon take care :)

Hi Teagan.I am so sorry for your test results. Don't believe it. Those tests are such a SCAM!! I believe you still could have your daughter. By the way, if you are in Australia, have you had your nuchal ultrasound yet? They do tell you in Australia........most places I know.........a pretty good guess of what you are having at 12 weeks. I was told at my 12 week scan. If you get a really good profile shot of the baby, with a totally flat spine, you would be able to see the genital nub. If you get one of these pics post it on here and we can all guess for you. I would ask the ultrasound tech though, they should be able to give you an indication at your nuchal scan. Good luck!

Thanks again everyone for your wonderful messages of hope. I didnt have the nuchal test done, we didnt with DS and wouldnt have an abortion if something was wrong so we dont do any tests in our pregnancies. I am keeping up the positive thinking and hopefully my Doc will say "looks like youre havin a little girl", thatd be awesome, a dream come true! Can you ladies explain how that feels when they tell you that? It must make you so happy! I will be soooo nervous at my next check up, its on xmas eve so I will get on here and let you all know how it went straight away.

Hang in there Teagan! I know exactly how you're feeling as Chloe said. I completely prepared myself to have my third boy and just never pictured my life without a little girl. My 20 week scan confirmed that I am indeed carrying a girl!!!! I'm still in shock but elated as well. I wish I had never done that test. Had I come across this site before I ordered the test, I never would have. I've been trying to get a hold of TMPOB and they were supposed to send me a re-test kit 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't seen it. I want my money back because it can surely be spent better somewhere else! I know you can't not think about it (I drove myself nuts for weeks) and was an emotional mess, but stay positive. You may still have your little girl!!!!!!
