Thanks very much all of you! It's so kind of you to care.  I'm getting the results for my second beta hCG tomorrow morning, which should give some indication of how my baby is doing.  I just hope the news is good so I can relax for a bit.

 Thanks Courtnilaine :) .  My first result was 14,377, which I gather is pretty good, and was somewhat reassuring.  I'm just waiting for the second one now.  I'm just hoping and praying it will show that the baby is still alive and well.

Oh yay! That is pretty good hun! Mine at six weeks was only 500, then I had my m/c about three weeks later. When do you have your second test for it? You're still in my thoughts and prayers!

Ah so glad you posted, I been thinking of you and your little bub, glad the first numbers came back so good. Are you still spotting, I had spotting with both boys, DS1 for 6 weeks till 14 weeks on and off, sometime red some others brown, the Dr only said to rest, and he stay put. with DS2 I had brown spotting from before BFP till about 8 weeks I think he was only implantation bleading. I actually fear that I have only lost the pregnancies in wich I have not spotted, and this time no spotting yet. Keeping my FX for you sweetie.

I had the second test late yesterday afternoon. I phoned for the results this morning, but they said I should phone back at 2pm. It's currently 12pm here.

I've had a bit more spotting today, but it's not the bright red blood that I had on Thursday evening, which was clearly fresh bleeding.  That became spotting on Fri and Sat (looked like old blood), then stopped. Not sure what's going on with this today.

What you said about your previous pregnancy is reassuring, Idalmis. The bleeding on Thur can't be implantation spotting, but it didn't continue for long, so that's good.  Like you, when I had my miscarriage I had no spotting whatsoever beforehand. I just started bleeding when the miscarriage started, and it just got heavier and heavier. Don't worry about the lack of spotting now, though, Idalmis. Most healthy pregnancies don't have spotting. I suspect a very rough internal ultrasound might have triggered my miscarriage last time, although I also had low beta numbers. Mine got up to about 1,400 and were still going up, but very slowly.

Thanks again for the good wishes, thoughts and prayers.  I'll report back as soon as I get my results this afternoon.

Really hope you get fantastic news at 2pm. How nerve wracking. I'm sure it'll be fine. Have to stay positive. xx

It was nerve-wrecking, but at least I have the second result now.  I couldn't post it earlier because I kept getting an error from InGender.  Anyway, my results together are:

Thur 10 Sep: 14,377

Mon 13 Sep: 23,372 (after 72 hours)

My numbers haven't doubled, but they have increased substantially and are within the range of normal, so that is reassuring.

Unfortunately, I've had some more spotting and cramps this afternoon, so I'm still quite scared.  If it was just one or the other, it wouldn't be so bad, but both together is more of a concern.  I just hope and pray that it settles down soon. I'm pretty stressed right now.

Anyway, I'll keep resting and praying, and try to leave the rest in God's hands. 

This sounds really promising. I know your not out the woods yet but i think this does sound good (looking at the chart you gave me) . Gosh- this really is stressfull. Your in my thoughts sweetie. sure it'll be fine. xx
