If this was true I would not bother having more kidsHmm.

By the way was the website where you got your information: Just 1 wrong even though my daughter #2 is such a tomboy.

Yep that's the site.  It was wrong for all three of my girls.  So I think it does the opposite for some people for some reason, so I'm trying during a girl month and hoping for a boy!  But I don't believe in it anyways!

NO. DONT DO THAT YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT THE DATE AND TIME YOU EITHER CONCEIVE OR WHEN YOU OVULATED!

I TRIED IT AND IT SAID EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE G,G,B,G.

TRY IT AGAIN BUT THIS TIME THINK BACK I STILL REMEMBER LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.

I'm confused, am I doing it wrong?  Don't you put in the mom's information for Birth Date, Birth Time, and Time Zone of Birth?  And then the Calculation Start Date and Current Time Zone are where you put in your kids information?  That's how I've been doing it this entire time, I guess if that's wrong then I need to know.  But that's how another person was doing it.  And that's how it's done on the Luc website too.

ok, I just did it on that site posted above and for DS I got:

5.06.2004 9:33 am G 1
4.07.2004 5:00 pm B

2

I ovulated on June 30.  would you consider this "correct" then?

 For this pregnancy, I got:

28.10.2007     10:02am    B    1

26.11.2007     8:41 pm     G    2

I ovulated on November 11 - almost smack in the middle of these two dates.  how do you interpret that?

MEL-T: I FIGURE IT OUT ON DS ITS CORRECT! THE ONE THAT IS CLOSES TO YOUR CONCEPTION DAY THAT IS THE MONTH SOMETHIMES YOU HAVE TO GO A MONTH UP OR DOWN.

BUT FOR THIS PREGNANCY MAY BE ANOTHER BOY? WHEN I DID MINE IT DIDNT GO THAT WAY! BUT THIS JUST TELLS ME THAT IT COULD GO EITHER WAY....IF YOU SWAY AND HAD A CUT OFF OR 0+12 THEN ITS A GIRL. SO WHO KNOWS!

WARNING

If you do decide to use the information provided by this page, please do not underestimate the Risk Factor. We had a few occurrences when a couple, unable to have a child by following medical advice, decided to use Jonas Method, but conceived at the moment with high value of Risk Factor. They did give birth to a child and of desired gender, but with serious mental and physical problems.

Explanations

  • The period of maximal probability of conception begins 24 hours before the moment specified in the table.
  • The probability of conception will be high despite the phase of your hormonal cycle on which such a moment falls. In fact, research shows that if such a moment falls on the days of menstruation, the probability of conception will be very high.
  • In the 'Gender' column, 'B' means 'boy, 'G' - 'girl'. If there is a question mark, the indications are somewhat ambiguous. For example, 'B?' means that probably a boy, but it isn't that certain.
  • Risk Factor ('Risk' column) is the least researched. Sometimes people say that they gave birth to a healthy child when Risk Factor was as high as 5. But there are cases when an abnormal child was born with RF 3 or 4. It would be reasonable to have it as low as possible and to use the periods with high RF only for contraception.

Perhaps I've been doing it wrong this whole time?  I thought that you go by the entire month as a boy or girl month, and not necessarily "between dates."  Luc does it for you, and he only gives you one good day a month...and he only does future dates not past dates.  But they all corresponded the same or one day difference between the dates that are on this Jonas one.  I'll have to redo my dates the way you said to and see if it works then.

If I do it as between dates and count whichever is closest like you said.  Then DD1 is right, DD2 says B?, and DD3 is right.  How the heck do you interpret the question marks?

Well, before I was trying to prove it right, since the date I wanted to try on was right for me.  But now that I've upped my conception date, and the dates are off...I've been trying to prove it wrong.  So I went and re-did a bunch of them, I did it both ways...by the month and by the closest date.  And either way I still had wrong ones, so I'm convinced that this theory is wrong!  And that's what I want to believe for my own sake!

stargirl- Did you mean 21:15 as in military time 9:15 PM or was it a typo and you really meant 12:15 PM?  Oh well I tried it both ways and it was the same.

2nd- boy

Hi there,

Sorry I'm only coming back to you now...Happy. I was born at 9:15 at night. Well it seems as though it's wrong with both this time... I had a boy 26 January 2005 and is expecting another boy according to the doctor that did my ultrasound. I wish it was a case of reversed gender though! Stick out tongue

I will aswer to this one if its ok with you stargirl.

I see that it is correct with ds#! being a boy.

But with this pregnancy it says your expecting a girl. Who knows its all for fun but if you bd days before O and did not do a 0+12 and swayed then you are in the girl zone. But I do believe timing, diet, cm plays a better role.

Keep in touch let us know what your having.Happy Smile

Hi 3girls1boy4_me,

Thank you for answering Happy Smile, Every single prediction based on swaying and dates has been a girl, we bd'd on day of ovulation I'm not sure if it was +12 though? I used Magnesium and Calcium Sups as well as Cranberry tabs before hand didn't eat a lot of salt, husband more or less should be quite acidic from all the red wine he drank Stick out tongue ... everything in this pregnancy pointed to a girl even heart rate (if it really means something)...  but funny thing is that doc assured me it's definately a boy. Even though she had difficulty with seeing (baby in bad position and not really co-operating), never gave me a clear view of genitals and didn't give me a gendershot when she confirmed gender last time. I was convinced by her now that it's a boy, so I'm expecting a boy... just a bit curious and interested Stick out tongue. Could you tell me if there was any risk factor present on the 15th of August 2007 which was my ovulation day?

Your'e such a star for doing this, thank you Happy

Hi 3girls1boy4_me,

I got an updated post e-mail, but couldn't find your post on here... this is what I got.

"You did mention that you conceived/Ovulated on the 15 of August the date below its after that so the risk factor is O with a girl!"

Please forgive this stupid question, but what does the risk factor entail?
