The times in the table are given for time zone which you specified in 'Current Time Zone'. However, it is not possible for us to take into account when Daylight Saving Time is in action for different places on the Earth. So please make a correction to the times specified in the table for the period when DST is in action in the place where you live now (normally this means adding one hour).

If you do decide to use the information provided by this page, please do not underestimate the Risk Factor. We had a few occurrences when a couple, unable to have a child by following medical advice, decided to use Jonas Method, but conceived at the moment with high value of Risk Factor. They did give birth to a child and of desired gender, but with serious mental and physical problems.
Explanations
- The period of maximal probability of conception begins 24 hours before the moment specified in the table.
- The probability of conception will be high despite the phase of your hormonal cycle on which such a moment falls. In fact, research shows that if such a moment falls on the days of menstruation, the probability of conception will be very high.
- In the 'Gender' column, 'B' means 'boy, 'G' - 'girl'. If there is a question mark, the indications are somewhat ambiguous. For example, 'B?' means that probably a boy, but it isn't that certain.
- Risk Factor ('Risk' column) is the least researched. Sometimes people say that they gave birth to a healthy child when Risk Factor was as high as 5. But there are cases when an abnormal child was born with RF 3 or 4. It would be reasonable to have it as low as possible and to use the periods with high RF only for contraception.

You have to know your birth time to use this method. If you don't, the uncertainty of the moment of conception can reach 24 hours, which might make the whole method useless. |
