Hey everyone, so glad to be home!! My little Kya Charlotte Louise arrived by planned c-section on August 24th at 2:45 weighing 7 lbs 11 ounces 19.5 inches long. Took them a while of torchure to get in the IV due to me being dehydrated from having to stop fluids at 8 am so that was NOT pleasant.. and then in the OR took them an an hour to get the spinal in and it was VERY much torchure and I ended up bawling in the OR and begging to just be put right out. Well finally a minute later they got it (thank god). When she was born she swallowed a lot of amniotic fluid and the cord was wrapped around her neck so it it took a couple mins to get her to breathe but everything is fine and she's healthy.. and sooooo far she's been an amazing baby!!! I have to wake her up for feeds. I just got released this morning and got home at noon cuz I begged my OB to let me go and she did So we're all at home and very much in love! I'm still quite sore from the surgery but otherwise doing great! Thank you everyone for the best wishes!! I'll attach a pic!
