15w u/s... need opinions and advice :)

 That looks like a boy to me..though, it is a pretty ambiguous shot.

What does that mean tho if it looks boyish to everyone?? This is why I'm confused. Does that mean the scrotum isn't clear? Or was my baby just one of the few who wasn't developed enough, like the tech on the other board said? I did notice tho that on other early u/s pics where the baby WAS developed enough, she would say something like, "I don't make early guesses, but that does look boyish/girlish". But for me she said it was the classic example of ambiguous genitalia and she said it was 50/50, could be a boy or a girl. She honestly couldn't tell either way. Sigh... oh well. I'm close to my due date and before that I get another u/s. So I'll kow for sure soon. For now, we will plan for a baby boy.

 It looks boyish - but I wouldnt bet more than a starbucks coffee on it. 15 weeks is a very tricky age. The scrotum isn't always obvious and/or it's hard to get a great picture of penis and scrotum at the same time. 

 So in my eyes, boyISH. 60/40

Thanks for posting . Have you ever seen a little girl look like this? Because I've been searching for pics of little girls with ambiguous nubs around this gestation and I couldn't find any. I have seen a few little boys who look like this, but most of them you can see a scrotum.

 I was just meaning that it isn't as obvious as most boy shots, but it doesn't look girlie, IMO.

When is your big scan?

 Ohhh ok. My next u/s is on the 15th. I'll be 37 weeks then. I didn't have the 20 week scan because I was seeing a midwife and she never told me I needed it. I had no idea how important it was. I'm now seeing an OB and he's going to see how big the baby is at this next u/s. I wanted a girl when we were trying, but when we found out we were having another boy, I was so excited (besides we're not done having children, so there's still a chance of having a girl in the future). I know that if by some odd chance my doctor tells us we're actually having a girl, I will be heartbroken.
