Ladies I really need your opinions please.Update on first post, hcg levels are now at 11.

Minervasmom, thank you for telling me this. The midwife who runs the early pg assessment team told me I couldnt O or get Af till my numbers were at 0 so the last 2 days I have been feeling really down wondering why I am bleeding & wishing I could see an end to all of this. I thought it was Af but then I thought maybe I was wrong.I just wanted things to settle down so I could ttc again so thank you for your thoughts.

 

I'm not sure but what I was thinking is that if your HCG is above 5 you can not have your AF. Maybe it's still a bleed from your horrible experience ???

I lost my baby-girl on the 15th of May and just now (15th August) I had my first AF

I'm so sorry for your loss, and for how long it has taken for you to get your ppaf. (((Hugs))) However, you CAN have AF if your hcg is over 5. I had a normal cycle this time (though I ovulated later than usual), and got AF when my hcg was 9. I don't think you ovulate or get AF until your hcg has dropped relatively low, but the hcg does NOT have to be below 5.

I am so sorry for your loss.I bled for almost 2 weeks after my m/c & then it completely stopped for 2 weeks & I had a u/s that showed no tissue left over.Then I got the usually AF symptoms like headaches etc & I started to bleed.Today there is hardly any blood so I bled for 4 to 5 days just like AF so it really looks like AF to me. I guess I will see if I ovulate soon.FX I will. GL to you too.

I think you've commented on my post before, I lost my son at 19 weeks to triploidy (9th November) and I'm still waiting for my hcg to cooperate so I can ttc asap (hcg is currently at around 6 or 7).

I saw your post from 2010, and how you were in the same boat , really wanting to conceive again, and my heart broke for you when I saw that you had 2 losses this year- but then I felt a little relieved when I saw that you're currently pregnant, and at a good stage (out of the 1-12 week danger zone).

 

So I just wanted to say congratulations and enjoy every minute :)

I've never been this nice to a Blue before, I'm from QLD :P

im so sorry 5 monkeys. i know how hard it is to lose a child. i too wanted to get pregnant again as soon as i lost my baby. it took me 4 months to conceive again. and yes while i love my new baby i know now she can't replace her sister. take time you and your family need to grieve. give your body time to heal. sending you pink dust so when you are ready and when your body is ready it will be there waiting. good luck and hugs.

Unfortunately we lost our little one in August at 12 weeks.We still have hope to ttc next year.

five monkeys just to give you some encouragement hun I am so sorry for your loss , I had a Mc and It was the next  cycle once I got my period back I fell pregnant and it sticked and he is now nearly 2. I heard that the 2 cycles after you mc can be the most fertile just thought I tell u that and I actually took baby aspirin just incase and I really felt that help with my little one ,until 20 weeks good luch hun !
