TTC Girly Girl - August 2010

Hi girl..

I have also tried TTC a girl this month..I ovulated late on the 23/08 or early hours on 24/08...I really believe I had a good sway. However after finding out about the moon theory... it has got me really worried that regardless of the diet, supps etc because I ovulated in a male sign, I will get a boy anyway!!

For all you TTC little girls - does the moon theory scare you off if you only ovulate in a male sign - or would you sway anyway?

I haven't got a BFP yet and I am only 2 dpo but im starting to panick!!

Hi all! I know it's been a while (new mom syndrome), but I thought I'd drop in and wish you all lots of love and luck!

Idalmis-ooooh babies are alot of work, I only take ages 2 and up. LOL!  Good luck testing! bfn for me again today @ 10dpo.  We cannot ttc in Sept because ds2's bday is in May ( I always deliver 2wks early) and we don't want 2 bdays in May.

I should be O'ing on Saturday! Got a high reading on my monitor and have had creamy CM for 2 days now, it will probably transition to EWCM late tonight. pHs are looking good...tested last night mine was 4.43 and DH's was 7.45. Now I'm trying to figure out exactly how we're going to do the attempt. I do want to use lime still, just not sure if I want to do the LD before BD'ing or bring it down after with a few drops (I'm going to put the sample in a DC) or what.

DS1 is at school and I took DS2 to the daycare on base to be dropped off this morning. Now I'm heading to the beach by myself! Figure a few ions in the right way couldn't hurt. It's nice because we live right on the ocean. If it wasn't so dang hot (110+ heat index every day for the past several weeks, ugh) I'd open up the windows in the house to get the ocean breeze. Oh well. I'm really chipper today lol...DH started work again today and both boys out of the house I've gotten SO much done already!!

I wouldn't worry too much, if you had all the other factors under control you should be fine!

Well HELLO there Sparkle!!!! What a nice surprise to see you popped in How's life as a new mum treating you? We miss you around here Have you posted some new pics of your little man somewhere? HUGS!!!

 

I'm still incredibly tired and can't shake it even though I'm sleeping like a rock through the night!  I took a test from early pregnancy tests.com @ 7 dpo and I think I got a very, very faint +.  It was 4 am when I took the test so my I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me and I went back to bed.  Woke up 2 hours later and I could definitely see the line even though it was faint.  Hopefully it's not an evap line and it will get darker by the weekend

Vendela - do you think so? would it stop you from swaying if you ovulated in the opposed gender sign.

Have you had a look at the moon sign and gender thread - its so freaky.

Its really putting me off wanting a BFP this month - just in case!!

Nop, wouldn't put me off, but it's a personal decision. I think diet is waaaaaay more important than moon signs. I used to check it but I often Oed right on fullmoon, you can't control everything and that wasn't something I felt was very important to my sway.

Ow thanks -  I blinking hope so...im so stressed out with it, its getting me down.

I got 3 boys and was hoping for a perfect sway and a BFP so I can relax.. this moon sign theory has really miffed me off!

There have only been like 2 months out of my 12 that I have NOT ovulated in a full moon.  So I don't think that really is all that important.  Granted I do have 5 boys, but I still dont' really buy too much into that.  I would not turn me off from ttc.  

 

ETA - For as many people you can find saying it DOES work for them you can find just as many saying it does NOT.  I think it's just coincidence
