When will you have your gender scan?

Just curious if anyone else has had their gender scans yet or will have theirs soon? I know that since I'm due on Jan. 1st, I'm probably the first to have had one. We had ours early at 14.5 weeks GA. They were able to get great potty shots and tell us that our baby is a girl. However, I'm suddenly having all of these worries that the scan is wrong or that something will show up later. I know it soulds silly. Just wondering if/when you all are having your scans so that I can comiserate. Embarrassed

I am either going to book one for at 16 weeks on the 14th August or so, OR try and hold out till 18 weeks and have one on my 24th birthday- though the obvious downside is if I'm disappointed with the result then it's a ruined birthday.

If DP changes his mind about a private scan I will have to wait till 20 weeks on Sept 13th.

Praying for all of you to have positive scans! I have an appointment this Thursday and the dr. did say that we could look again to make sure but that the first scans were pretty clear. I need the reassurance. :-) I'll post an update then.Thanks, everyone!!! So nice to be going throguh this with other gals!

Thank you ladies! It is still hard to grasp. I keep pulling out the ultrasound pictures and looking at them over and over and saying....no way, lol!
