I had a baby girl yesterday morning 7/18, after a very hard labor. she was born at home :) all is well now but I got stuck at 8cm for about 12 hrs due to a cervical lip that would just not stay up and then it would swell and I would have to change positions often- causing aweful contrx. NOT fun.

just a quick note to add: I had prodromal labor for a week and finally got websters done at the chiro which gave me some good contrx and I came home to see bloody mucus :) then it kicked in later that night...

but alas SHE is here and I am totally in love and crying often.

6lbs 4 oz. Elawyn River. (1st name may have a change in spelling)

20 1/2 inches. born at 36 weeks 6 days. looks 38 weeks gestationally.

Oh my goodness!!! Congrats Babymaker!!! I'm so proud for you! Way to go! I hope I'm next. I was at the hospital yesterday with contractions 3 minutes apart for hours then they died down so they sent me home to rest. Sad I'm hopeful that today is the day! I have an appointment at 10:30 to get a massage and they will do accupressure so hopefully that along with the Blue and Black Cohosh extract I'll go into labor today and get to meet my beautiful daughter!
