Clomid and TTC Pink

I am going to my OB this morning and I think he is going to prescribe clomid for me.  My cycles are pretty messed and since my high tech journey, I am not sure if I am ovulating on my own.  I am also almost 40.

Do you know of anyone who did O+12 on clomid?  I would think it would be easier to pinpoint because of the O pains and timing (from what I remember - DS2 was conceived on clomid).  I know there are a few on here that have DS from clomid, but I think that is because you are told exactly when to BD and it is exactly at O time.

I think we may abstain until after O.....anything you can tell me would be great!

I was wondering the same thing.  I posted a similar question the other day, but didn't seem to get a definite answer.  My doctor has me doing the clomid challenge test next month (I am 35 and have been ttc for 8 months now), and he told me that it would increase my chance of getting pregnant that month, as well as my chances of having twins.  So I am dying to know if clomid sways either way.  Watch, my luck I will end up pregnant with twin boys!!!

Trust me, I thought about this too......twin boys!  UUGGhhh!!!!  My Doc just gave it to me because of my age.  We have not started trying the old fashioned way yet.  Thx for the response.  Let's see if anyone else chimes in......

Clomid sways 2% pink. I conceived dd on first round of clomid. I BD 12 hrs before O and 12hrs after. GL!
