3?s what was the grade of your blast? where cycle? cramps?

 

I was curious to know what the grades of people who had blast transfers?

I was so naive I thought that if they even make it to blast, that was a good sign, now that for the first time I've made it to blast, I realize there's a grading system.

1. Where did you cycle?

2. What was the grading of your blasts (if you had a grading)?

3. Did you experience cramps during the 2WW?

4. Age

5. When did you have your beta?

1. HRC 2. Dr Potter told me my one normal blast was a B or B minus 3. No, just some twinges here and there 4. 34 5. Beta is in my siggie

HRC, 3 blasts, all B's, very crampy in 2ww, and hot. I was 34. Beta at 12dp5dt.

Positive internet cheapie at 6dp5dt, but sure it was have been positive at 5dp5dt if I had used a FRER.

 Thank you so much ladies! It feels so good to hear I'm not the only one with B graded blasts.  Did you all get a 2 letter grading like BC?  

2 of mine were BC so I'm feeling worried that that is not good. From what I understand the second letter represents the placenta?

I never saw an official grading. Dr Potter just looked at the photo and said it would probably be a B or B minus. So nothing official from an embryologist. You know, I just looked at the hand written notes on my pgd report and it looks like it says blast B/C. Another blast that was abnormal says blast BD and another abnormal blast just says blast C. I was never told exactly what those mean.

By the way, you are so strong to have not POAS by now!!

2. What was the grading of your blasts (if you had a grading)? hatching blast

3. Did you experience cramps during the 2WW? majorly!!!! especially lower back pain!!!

4. Age 37.5 when I cycled

5. When did you have your beta? on day 10 - which was 253 from memory.  clinics vary but many prefer them over 100

 Thanks to all the ladies for posting!! To Ilovemykids: You did GSN, how many embies did you have to work with? I did 2probe. Do you think anyone who does MS gets A graded blasts? Thanks for posting as it makes us feel so much better we too have BC blasts to work with. Were most of your GSN Abnormal blasts poorly graded (ie: C or lower D, E, F?) Congrats by the way!

 I'm dying to POAS but I'm scared as I'm trying to enjoy ignorance is bliss for the moment.  I just read an article on ehow about how to tell if you're pregnant after IVF and I felt very discouraged reading the part which says having cramps during the 2WW is a good sign as the drugs you're on after IVF would not cause that.  Hmmmm, no cramps here. Absolutely nothing really different.  

I had 7 embies go to GSN for testing. 3 were normal - the blast I transferred and two morulas that did not make it to freeze. The only other two blasts were the abnormals I mentioned. My other abnormals were morulas or worse. There have been other girls who have had hatching blasts with MS (which I am guessing may be an A blast as mine wasn't hatching yet) so it seems possible. I was disappointed mine wasn't an A plus stellar blast, but it stuck so it was still strong!
