I am so hoping and praying the same will happen to me. I cried so much after my boy result since this is my last chance to have a daughter after two boys (like teresa). I wish you all the best.....and make sure you get a full refund from TMPOB.

I think they will definitely be off the market soon.  They are having issues from what I've heard.

Wantanina--Looks like we're in the same boat.  Did you say when your scan is?  Have you called the company about your results?  I may next week...just to see what they say, not that I'll believe it one way or the other.  Sending lots of PINK your way!

Hi Teresa.....yes, we are in the same boat. My scan is Nov 29. I haven't called the company.......I think it's not easy to get the money back. They are such a scam! I can only pray that they don't get away with it in my case, and it really turns out the results were wrong. I'm very happy for Chloe and pray the same will happen to us. Sending lots of pink your way as well!

Reguarding the refund, I've noticed the policy on their site, but when I called they told me all I have to do is fax the birth cert. and they would cut a check to arrive in 7-10 business days.  I've heard it is hard with Baby Gender Mentor...Did anyone else reading this have a problem with refunding from TMPOB?

I was one of the first that came on here with a wrong result....if not the first...I don't really know.  I did not have a hard time getting my $$$ back at all.  I think they are regulating it now...but back when I took it they just gave the $ back right away.

Well, I just called the company and asked about my boy results.  She said there was no contamination and there was a pretty good presence of the y chromosome.  I guess I'm starting to believe more that is going to be a boy!

Teresa, Please remember I heard the exact same thing.    No contamination, first test strong boy, second and third -borderline.

 I'm so mad at this company, because I can't just embrace that it is really a girl.  Even though the tech was 100% sure and you can clearly see three white lines.  What if the big ultrasound was done to early (I was almost 18 1/2wks) or what if my baby has something wrong with his penis.  I just can't get these thoughts out of my head..   I just hate hate hate TMPOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't believe anything before you see it with your own eyes. I checked with the company before purchasing the kid if there is any chance that there are still y-chromosomes in my blood from my previous boy pregnancies. They said no......of course. Later, I found an article stating that it is scientifically proven that y-chromosomes can stay in a mother's body up to 20 years (I think it was 20) after she'd given birth. I posted this article somewhere here. Did you read it? Let me see if I can find it. Anyways, chances are good that you and/or I are expecting another boy, but TMPOB's results don't prove anything.

 

I agree with you Chloe!  I wish so badly I would have never done this test!!  I only did it because I thought being that they were testing your blood, it had to be accurate.  If I would have read all of this first, I would have never done the test.  My emotions are completely a mess!  I want a girl so badly...this will be our last baby regardless of sex and I never thought I wouldn't have a little girl in my life.  Please know that regardless....I will love my baby to pieces once I adjust to the idea of having three boys.  I think your scan is correct....I saw the 3 lines...........GOOD FOR YOU but I'd still feel the same as you.  Seeing is believing once you hold that baby girl in your arms.
