updates plz?!

Its quiet on here...can the moms on here update about thier babies and themselves and how they are doing...maybe a pic too?

Julia and I are fine...she is a great baby and a good nurser..My boys are doing great with her too.

Julia had her 1 wk appt an dis currently 14oz's up from her birth weight...ya for boob milk huh?! She also is 1.5 inches longer too!

I am 5lbs from pre preggo weight and feel good as can be...still soe soreness but all is well...my hubby went back to work today his 2 wk paid vaca is over!!! I miss him some...but I am ready to get back in the SAHM saddle and get it on!!!

Lillians doing great! She has a doctors appiontment next monday so I'm excited so see how much bigger shes gotten. She was born at 7pd 14oz, went home at 7pd, and was 8pds at 1 week old. She sleeps straight threw the night still which is a blessing and I'm hopeing doesn't change. I still have about 10pds to lose before I get to my pre-preggo wieght but I still feel like i look good for just having a baby. All in All things are great. I had a few rough days were my emotions were totally haywire but I'm feeling almost back to normal. Also my DS is doing fabulous with her. For only just being 2 he protects her like you wouldn't believe and doesn't stop giving her kisses. I love it.

Aw what beautiful photo's everyone has!

Robin is now 1 month and 2 days old... I can't believe he should be a newborn (my EDD was 26th Feb but he came on 30th Jan) and instead I have a 1 month old baby! He is up to about 9lbs now and doing really well. We have a few breathing issues and some concerns about his joints (specifically his hips) and a few other things like that...

I am doing much better. I have to have tests for diabetes again though as I'm showing signs of still having it. They said it should have gone away after he was born (was on insulin) but I'm constantly thirsty which isn't normal for me at all (like I can drink a pint in one go and STILL be thirsty and feeling like I haven't had a drink in hours)... So I've got to go for that, and I have a renal scan at some point to check my kidney over.. I saw my Haematologist last week and am being tested for Celiac (sp?) disease. I have to have B12 injections for the next year, folic acid and iron for the next 3 months and need to have regular checks of my B12 and iron levels. I have about a week and a half left of my heparin injections - and boy will I be glad when those finish!

We've had a rough two weeks.  Danica develped pretty severe jaundice.  She got up to 17.6 (20 they were worry about brain damage).  She was on the bili-blanket for a week here at home and I had to take her to the clinic (1 hour round trip) every day for labs to make sure it was going down.  About a week into that she started vomiting almost every other time she ate.  She had the hiccups constantly, was fussy after nursing, and had a dry cough.  Turns out she has reflux and is now on zantac twice a day and is doing much better. At her 2 week checkup we though she had lost 2lbs...a couple days later the clinic figured out it was just the scale.  She is now up to 8lbs 12.5 oz...so a pound and an ounce over birth weight at 3 weeks old.  She also developed a sinus infection of a result of the reflux...when she would throw up it would come out her nosing forcing bacteria into her sinuses...she's on antibiotics now and much more comfortable and less congested.  Even with all of this going on she is extremely happy and content...rarely fussy and sleeps very well.  She goes to bed at 10pm and wakes at 3am for 1 nursing a night and then sleeps til 7:30-8am. She is by far my easiest baby....almost sleeps better than Ds2 who still gets up at least once a night.

Loving the updates and the photos, I am amazed at how fast the time is flying now the babies are here. They are all so adorable

Adelaide will be 5 weeks on Tues and is a total cutie. We had a few issues with breastfeeding in the early days but now she is nursing brilliantly and goes down @ 10pm, 20 min feed @ 2am then sleeps till 7am. I almost feel like a human again ;)  The older kids are over the moon shes here and keep looking at her, she certainly gets her fair share of cuddles. We had her first proper smiles this morning and they make me well up with pride

I am recovering from the c-section although still have pain if anything presses on the wound area, looking forwards to being able to drive again this week. I haven't tested my blood sugars since her delivery but I stopped all insulin after her birth. I am having a glucose tolerance test on March 31st so am happy to wait till then. I think all is good as I feel fine and have plenty of energy (maybe thats from the daily big bar of choccy I am munching lol)
