doing a quick check in to see how the Dec. mum's and babies are doing!!

how is everyone feeling? how have you bonded with your new little bundles? Are you getting any sleep? have you fallen into any routines?

I am doing well myself!! I contribute this to finally getting into some kind of a routine.. well Noella has finally gotten into a routine in the last few days!! yay!! sleeping is still a challenge but I think my body is getting used to this pattern! I have bonded well with Noella. .I was VERY worried at the start that I wouldn't.. but I did .. and I am still falling in love with her every day..

she is holding her head up well now.. she loves to stand and look around.. she is very curious.. she smiles now when I talk to her.. I am waiting on her to start giggling and rolling over.. she can lift her head from being on her belly and can lift it when laying on her back.. she is 9 weeks!

Liam is good but I am very overwhelmed with 3 -- started on zoloft a couple weeks ago b/c my anxiety got really bad. Sad I have to say, going from 2 to 3 was WAY harder than I expected it to be and we've had a really hard time. Sick kids have complicated things too -- big kids were both sick back and forth all of December and the baby has had a cold and double ear infections going on 3 weeks now -- he's on abx and nebs and still congested, ahhhhhhh! Confused Huh?

Anyway, overall I am very blessed with my 3 boys and very happy to have Liam here but damn it's stressful! 300% solidified my decision to be done with 3 though! Happy LMAO

more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into

Gosh, I haven't been on here in ages!  Having four kiddies is keeping me very busy.  Aylish is 3 months old now and a real delight.  She's very contented and smiley and *YAY* sleeping through the night!  Now that I've mentioned that she'll probably wake up again!  I don't get time for much as I run around after the 3 older boys so much there is hardly time for anything else.  I can't leave my 2 year old in the same room as Aylish as she's bound to get a toy in the face (or worse!).  We're having a great summer so she is getting lots of wear out of pretty summer dresses ...

Thats us in a nutshell.  I must go through the website and catch-up on everyone else.  Diane - your wee girl is a pet.  Wow, she is doing a lot for 9 weeks old!

I'm feeling physically great...

Fearymay:

great at first, but now I feel a bit miffed.  My dd seems to only be interested in my dh and my other kids and quite honestly, I feel a bit upset about it.Sad

Chloe has slept thru the night a few times, but it's not a regular thing.  I'm not complaining tho, as my other 2 NEVER slept thru.

She is always smiling at them (only smiled once or twice at me) and is constantly watching them, especially my DH, she cranes her neck around to see him.  I feel like I'm only here to provide food Sad

Checking in..

Eleanor is a delight.  She is really smiley and really jolly.  When the boys were first born the first month or so they seem to be miffed that they were out in the outside world..and then they eventually became happy to be here (after both had cranial osteopathy).Eleanor however seems to be very happy to be in the world.

We had a day in hospital though as she had Bronciolitus (sp?) and was quite poorly.  I have been ill since a week after she was born...and didn't bother going to the dr's....I've had a chest infection for 5 weeks and only got the anitbiotics last week....silly Rebecca.  We're both feeling much better now though.

No sleeping through the night here...she is still a little dot and seems to need to eat in the middle of the night (can't blame her, I would given half a chance!) Thankfully she is right next to me at night so I can just grab her and feed!

I didn't think I would be so in love with her as I am, I think it's the fact she's my last baby, and the fact that third time around I know what to do so nothing seems daunting anymore....I'm really enjoying her.

Oh4agirl...I felt like that a few weeks ago...she didn't seem to look at me much, until she realised my boobs were there...then she was interested...thankfully it seems to have passed a bit and she she smiling and looking like she loves me now...rather than just loving my boobs.xx.

Rebecca

Wow, I haven't been on here in forever (glad I'm not the only one!). I'm on FB more, so if you are too that's a good way to keep up with me (but no one IRL knows we did IVF, so please be discrete). We're doing pretty well. I'm feeling pretty good now. My biggest issue is my belly. I'm sure you all remember how big I got! I still very much look pregnant. Maybe because I was so big from the twins, maybe my diastasis recti, maybe because my 3rd pg. Not sure. But I'm uncomfortable going out in public without the girls (when they're with me people figure it out, lol). I've lost all but 5 lbs of the baby weight, so it's not that. But I was a bit too heavy going in to it, so I've started WW online (since it worked after DS2) this week. Hopefully it helps a bit (no exercise yet - probably not until we get some part-time help). But I'll definitely need surgery. Okay, enough of my whining :p I love spending my days with my ladies. And I'm a little sad that there's only about 5-6 weeks before I go back to work. They are absolutely angelic. They sleep through he night and are quite happy most of the time. And I love this age because they are so cuddly. They are gaining weight well, and have strong little necks like Noella :) They are different looking as night and day (to me at least) - I'm sooooooo curious to see what they'll look like. They do keep me quite busy. I have to do lots of things twice, and almost everything takes 2 hands (or more!). I've gotten a lot more comfortable taking them out though - we've even gone to a playdate! My hard days are when I have all 4 kids by myself - I feel like I'm just trying to keep us all fed and alive ;) My boys are doing pretty well. DS1 was a little jealous at first, but I think he understands more now. DH's hand is on the mend now (not that he's that helpful anyway), but I still feel like I do everything anyway. I miss you all and think about you lots even though I'm not on much. Glad to hear from everyone. :) oh4agirl - I thunk it's just because you're always around and they're less so - so more of a novelty. Hugs to everyone!

Ditto that! I can't believe how happy I was to have  minutes to get on and check up on everyone! My Madeline is doing great, she has been very smiley since birth and now giggles and smiles a ton. It is very cute. She also gained weight very quickly which was nice being that she was a little small at birth.

So sadly I am a waiting around to hear the results of my cervical biopsy. As my Dr. was doing it she said it didn't look good, and after doing way too much research I am sure I have cervical cancer. But the good news is that it is treatable and I got my baby girl, so since I won't be able to have any more kids that is a relief to at least have my girl. Not that I was planning anymore.

I am completely wore out. We are also moving to a town about 3 hours from our current house and that is totally stressfull! We have way too much stuff! But I have most of it packed, today I tackle the playroom and it is going to be a serious challenge!

Well it was nice to read about everyone, hopefully things get better for some and continue on a happy course for the rest.

Like a few others I havent been on here in what feels like ages Embarrassed

How am I feeling - crappy, fat and like ill never be my old self again, like no-one listens, run down and constantly emotional. I think the only thing that keeps me going is Macey's beautiful smiles and the fact she needs me so much.

Macey is a very sicky baby and brings up most feeds but because she isnt loosing enough weight the doctors dont believe me, although she has dropped from being on the 75th centile to the bottom of the 50th they dont seem to care, even when I tell them she is only gaining weight because im topping up her feeds every 2 hours to make sure she doesnt loose too much weight!! I have mentioned reflux to them because she also has apnia and I know the 2 are often linked but they just keep telling me that she cant have reflux because she hasnt lost enough weight. I sometimes feel like making her go the 4 hours between feeds so she looses weight just to prove a point but I cant do that to me little Macey its not right!!

Apart from that Macey is very smiley and loves having long conversations, she can lift her head very well and can even lift it while laying on her back.

Doing pretty well. Past 2 nights Maddie has not gone to bed well. She feeds and wants to cuddle. Doesn't want to go in her crib. I am trying though. I have to make sure she is pretty well into a deep sleep before I try putting her in her crib. The stinker! She is becoming a "boobie baby' at bedtime.

Glad you are both doing better!!!  I'm glad you stayed on top of things, you were right about the reflux and apnea, hope she continues to do better. :)
