Sorry! I don't know how I missed this .I actually had major placental abruptions and I hemorraged very badly with both of my sons. I also have a history of pre-term labor (first son was born at only 34w 5d). I went from 5 cm to 10 cm in only 1.5 hrs and I didn't even know I was in labor. If I go into labor on my own and do not make it to the hospital it could kill both the baby and me. With the abruptions too-if the placenta were to come completely off then we would lose the baby in 3 minutes. We're cutting our losses at 35 weeks and doing the c-section then for these reasons. I'm just way to high risk to continue past that. I will be 34 w 6 d when she is born.
You're not nosey! I would wonder the same thing about a scheduled c-section being done so early.
