anyone told boy and baby was actually a girl?

 just wondering....I know I saw the turtle my pic may not be clear but heck I went to one of those places and paid so they should be right? right?

With my 3 girls I was told girl every time and they were right. With dd3 the tech said it's usually easier to be sure it's a boy and that was at 17 weeks so I'd say you'd be safe enough thinking blue.

My earliest u/s with my boys was 16w3d and it was OBVIOUS he was a boy. I think at 15w, there is soon room for error. However, if the baby is in perfect positin & very cooperative and you have a good experienced tech, I think you can find out definitively at 15w.

I work in the newborn nursery and I have encountered several couples who were expecting one sex and SURPRISE got another, it's gone both ways.

I think mistakes are normally made the other way around, they say girl then later it turns out to be a boy.

If you saw boys bits yourself then I would think they got it right.

My boys were clearly boys at 15 weeks.  I did have one friend told boy at 16 weeks and she had a girl.  I know another girl who was told girl twice, and had a little boy.  I think these mix-ups are pretty rare though.  Chances are it's a boy!  Congratulations!

It does happen rarely. A friend of mine was told boy at 16 weeks (they mistook the cord for a penis) and then girl at 20, and a member of my family was told boy at 20 weeks and gave birth to a suprise girl!

my god i really shouldnt be reading this!! I was told girl 99% sure at 16 wks 2 days by babybond, i pray to god it wasnt to early,now im worrying!!

I was actually wondering the same thing. I went to one of those places and paid for a private u/s too. I was a little over 17wks.  Now I'm wondering if it's right b/c the baby didn't want to cooperate and almost the whole time she said the cord was between the legs and baby just wasn't wanting to move around hardly at all. We don't have a toilet shot of the boy bits, only a shot of baby on the side with it's a boy at the top of the pic. Well I guess I'll know for sure when I go to my dr's on Dec 17th. until then I'm just going to keep believing it's a boy.
