Really bad contractions

Yesterday I started having regular contractions..Stronger than BH. Last night I went to the midnight showing of New Moon. I was having them so bad during the movie. When I got home I couldn't sleep because they were so painful. I have a Dr. appointment and nst scheduled for 10am. I'm going to insist that my Dr. check me. I can barely walk. Wish me luck. I'll update when I get home. I hope it's nothing. I'm really not ready at all. No diapers,no bassinet,no nothing. I better get on the ball:)

Oooh! I would love to read another birth story but I understand that's completely selfish of me  I hope you get at least a few days to prepare a little more!
Low progesterone: was on Prometrium until my 11th week.  possible miscarriage 2001 miscarriage Dec 08 miscarriage Jan 09 My chart that led me to my bfp! I had my little  Dec 1, 2009!  She was due Dec 10th.

ok... I'm back. Dr. said I'm all closed up down there. I also had my nst which was fine and did my group b test. Good news..she said she is NOT going to let me go past my due date:) I'm still in alot of pain it hurts to walk, sit, drive(going over speedbumps OUCH)
This weekend i'm getting stocked up on all my supplies and getting a bassinet/playpen:)

Wow, I just experienced the same thing a few days ago and was going to ask on here if anyone else has had this happen. I had them all night Monday night (kept waking me up also) and they continued through Tues, when I had my doctor appt. At my appt. he checked me and said I was 3 cm and 80% effaced and that he thought I was in labor and sent me to the hospital. I was checked in and stayed over night, then at about 3 am on Wed. the contractions stopped, since I hadn't dilated further they let me go home, but told me labor wasn't far off. I was in the same position as you--I've prepared nothing!!! I'm still having bouts of intense contractions that last a few hours, but nothing consistent. Keep us updated--I've been wondering if anyone else had had a similar experience and how soon after they delivered!

Glad you're still intact - so you can get ready and your little one can bake a bit longer! Hang in there! :)

Glad all is "stalled" for you...I too have had regular contractions lately too, but seemed to have settled down today...still talking to me doc on monday..
Hope you at least get the diapers bought!!!
