How old were you when you went HT?

I will be 32 when DS is born. I would like to wait a couple years before HT...but is that unwise?

How old were you when you successfully went HT?

I started my HT journey 2 months before my 37th birthday, starting with the consult and then the testing. It turned out I had a high FSH (13, ideally should be under 10), but my RE was not concerned. He just thought I wouldn't be a stellar egg producer.

And I wasn't.

First cycle (age 37.5) I only produced 4-5 follies total. We cancelled prior to ER. 2nd cycle (still 37.5 yrs old) we retrieved 7 eggs, 6 fertilized and went to PGD. 1 normal girl (no MS).

As with everything else HT, you just never know what will happen.

 I was 28 at the time I cycled.

I just went through my first cycle at 28 and it was thankfully a huge success.  If you talk to an RE they might recommend that you do it sooner rather than later as your ovarian reserve can decrease past the age of 35 (I think).  Although, I wouldn't put too much stock in these stats until you get your pre-cycle testing done.  They will give you a much better idea of your chance for success.  There are PLENTY of ladies on here that have done high tech in their late 30s and even early 40s who have had success.  GL!

I was 36 when I did my first MS/IUI with clomid.  Got pregnant had an early M/C

Got pregnant accidentally immediately after the M/C and had boy#3

At 38 did my second MS/IUI with injectables and am now 14w5d pregnant!

Just want to add that I was also diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, FSH 33 and told wouldn't be able to have any more children with my own eggs.  Thank goodness they were WRONG!  My point in telling you this is so you won't wait too long, assuming you are still very fertile. 

 I was 30 when I cycled.  

I am 31 and was successful the first time.  

I did fresh IVF at 28 = BFN and then did an FET at 28 = BFP

 I got pregnant with MS/IUI at 38. I think you have time.

I am early pregnant (almost 6 weeks, so no u/s yet) on my 1st try and I just turned 39.

With my first cycle I was 35 and with my BFP cycle I was 36.

Your fertility and egg quality start to decline at age 35

I am 35 and just got my OHW BFP.

34 for both fresh BFN and FET BFP.  33 with cancelled cycle
