what do you think? did i O already? will i O sometime in the next couple of days?
i want to do an O+12/18 attempt. but i dont know if it is too late OR too early for that?
if you were me, would you think you had o'd early this morning? or would you think that O will happen in the next day?

this morning when i took my temp this am (4:30am) it was 97.58 after i took it i then had to get up and get the baby back to sleep and i went to the bathroom too. after that i temp'd again and the reading was 97.24. doesnt a persons temp get higher after they start moving around, rather than lower?
the night before my OPK was - so i was surprised to see a temp rise this am. when i did my opk today at 10:30am it was +++ so, should i trust the opk, or the temp rise? or both? last nights - opk was at 8pm . so i guess it is possible that i got my LH surge after that (maybe 1-2am ish) and then O'd before i went to temp? i am so confused if we should attempt tonight? what if this mornings temp was wrong. if i BD tonight then i could be right smack in boy territory!

i have been trying to track my cervix/cm and it seems as though it is getting firmer and closing a little. CM is hard for me but seems like there is less eggwhite and that it is less stretchy a little more cloudy.
i am leaning toward this chain of events.
8pm very neg opk
1am-2am ish LH surge
4am OVULATE
4:30 temp, temp rise
10:30am ++++ opk
could something like that occur?

Hmm . . . I'm not sure. You should've gotten a + OPK yesterday if you O'd today. However, the temp spike is pretty significant. Do you normally temp at 4:30am? Did you happen to get up at all during the night or have a drink last night- or was there anything that might account for a temp spike?
I would PM Tamara or Michaela for a better opinion. Sorry, I can't be more help.

nope i didnt do/eat ANYTHING out of the ordinary yesterday. last night was a textbook night and i didnt wake up at all. yes i normally temp at 4:30 to try and avoid wake ups by little people and my DH's alarm. i am leaning toward this chain of events:
8pm very neg opk
1am-2am ish LH surge
4am OVULATE
4:30 temp, temp rise
10:30am ++++ opk
is this possible?

You may have missed your surge then. Did you hold your urine for 4 or more hours before testing? That may have also been a contributing factor to the negative OPK. You also may need to test twice/day to catch your LH surge.
If you did O today, then you should planning your O+12

i did opks twice yesterday, one at 11am and then the one at 8pm . both were negative. so do you think that the timeline i posted could be something that would happen? or is it too out of the ordinary to O only 2-4 hours after an LH surge? is it possible to have an LH surge occur 2-4 hours after a neg opk? (yes i am pretty sure i held my urine for 4 hours before testing and no increase in liquids either)

This is a doozey! This is definitely an odd situation. I'm really just not sure- about any of it. If you're not worried about hitting boy territory, I would BD tonight and keep temping and testing. Maybe you could do TBM just to be on the safe side???

we went for it with HIC tonight at 10:30. i am pretty sure i O'd earlier in the day. my temp will tell tomorrow

oh my!  This is a bit confusing. Temps are usually a good indicator.I have had instances in the past where I would get a pos OPK, then that night get neg., then by morn. pos, lol It's so hard to trust what's right. But I'm pretty sure that temps are more reliable. Hope someone else can be better help to you! I just don't know for sure! GL!

What was your temp like this morning? I'm a good example of a temp rise before O-- I had High readings on the monitor on Tues, Wed, & Thurs; today I had a temp spike and a Peak reading, but I won't O until tomorrow. By the temp spike it would appear that I had O'd yesterday, but the monitor shows that I will actually O tomorrow. Keep us posted!

Learning here...I do you know the monitor is right though? I use the CBEFM and have always heard that it more help to make sure you were in the fertile window and not so much telling you exactly when you ovulate. I thought the only way to know for sure is with an ultrasound and that CM and CP were way better indicators. I also thought that the temp spike was suppose to tell you that O already occured and the egg is waiting still or gone. Again...just learning here.
OAB- I'm going to look at your chart and notes and figure this out. It will drive me crazy
