I am pleased to announce that Dr. Ervin Jones, of the Genetics and IVF Institute, is joining Dr. Potter here in the Ask the Doc forum to answer your questions here on a regular basis. I am very excited that we will now have two docs here to address all your questions about using PGD and MicroSort, including general questions and questions specifically about treatment at HRC and GIVF.
Dr. Jones is Senior Physician and Scientific Director at GIVF, and is also the lead physician for MicroSort IUI. He has more than 25 years experience, has authored numerous publications, and received many awards; he was named as one of “America’s Top Docs” by Ladies Home Journal, and honored as one of America’s Leading Physicians by Black Enterprise magazine. He will be checking in with us on a (usually) once-daily basis, so please be patient with your questions and expect a day or two to receive a response. Another member of the GIVF staff will also be joining Ask the Doc to answer questions about cost, scheduling, travel, and other non-medical issues -- I know that will be really helpful as well, since sometimes the logistics of planning a cycle seem more complicated than the science!
