I'm confused as to when they are positive.

Is it that the test line has to be way darker than the control  line for it to be postive?

Or what if the test line is  a "tad" lighter than the control line...is that still postive?

Or what if the test line is the same as the control line?

I know it has the info on the package, but it is still confusing to me and I would like to get input from those that are pro's Geeked with  these strips

Happy  Thanks!

I used those.  I would rarely get positives though unless I tested several times a day.  Most of the time my positive came in the middle of the night.  I charted temps, mucus, opk, & position so I knew when I ovulated but the strips were not great at detecting it for me. As long as even part of the line is as dark as the control line that is a positive. :)

I agree, sometimes it's hard to get a decent line on them. If the line looks similar I call it positive

Thank you ladies for the info.

I am going to get the smiley OPK as back up because I had a hard time trying to figure out if the 1st set of OPK that I got a + were really +....especially after seeing the OPK that was 4 sure +.

Yep! it's so hard with strip OPK ...I used them along with smiley OPK ..When the strip line gets darker I swtich to the smiley OPK and the first time I test with smiley is always -ve! and the 2nd test with smiley is +ve.

I actually love the internet OPK's....I haven't had any problems with them.  But my results have always been pretty clear.  Now ask me this again after our attempt next month and see what I say lol.

Is it that the test line has to be way darker than the control  line for it to be postive?  No, it can be the same 'darkness' too to be +

Or what if the test line is  a "tad" lighter than the control line...is that still postive? No (at least I wouldn't consider it to be that way.  I always test at Noon and 8pm and haven't really had too many probs with reading them).

Or what if the test line is the same as the control line? + result
