yes it can be.. ovulation pain doesn't mean you are ovulating per se.. for some women it does.. for others.. it can happen.. before.. during or even after you have ovulted..
the pain you are feeling may not even be originating from that side..
it sounds like you have ovulated.. but hard to be 100%.. you may be "lucky" and getting pre during and post ovulation pains.! oh fun!
