I would have already been to a private scan.  Because of the economy the majority of them can get you in with in a day or two.  Have you thought about going to one of them? 

Im sorry your doctor is being so difficult.  That would make me crazy!

Oh sorry to hear that Crystal. I have been stalking this site all afternoon for your update. I think we all know how hard it is to wait, so we feel your pain. I just think, well, at least we are almost there, closer than July pregnant woman. I am due in the middle of May, so I will have to wait after the holidays, if I don't go for elective gender u/s. Still not even sure if I want to find out!!!

 That's how far along I'll be when they do mine in December as well.  I was angry and thought about doing ANOTHER elective ultrasound, but now I'm just waiting.  I figured, maybe it was set that way so I'll get a really good GIRL shot and rule out any doubt that may be lingering from my other ultrasounds!!!  That's what I like to tell myself anyway ...

Sorry it took so long to update...I just got home, had some other errands to do. I am so angry with my dr  He refused to give me an ultrasound today and he set it up for 4 weeks from now, December 17th! Another month, I'll be 21wks3d! He said" well at least you'll know before Christmas" I just can't believe he is doing this...grrr, grr, grr

At my appt in October, he said we would find out 6 weeks from then, so I figured 2 weeks from this appointment and I would be getting my u/s. But today he's says 4 more weeks, just crazy!! I am seriously thinking of calling a private u/s place tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment ASAP. I wanted to know before Black Friday What gets me is DS2 wasn't due until May 1st and we found out November 25th so at 17wks, 5days. I had a different dr then and I sure wish I had him now but he no longer takes pregnant patients due to a family illness :(

Ditto. I am going on one saturday/ sunday and they told me just to call the day I would like to come and say that I will be there ,and it cost 29 $ ,it's 10 min (more if baby doesn't cooperate ) and they will give me 2 pics :) Cant wait !

Oh no sorry! That is so crap! It will be worth the wait and a nice xmas present for you x
