Bed rest after ET

Kiwi29 Joined 11-10-2009 Posts 35	11-17-2009 7:26 PM Kiwi29 Hi AllI am about to have my first ET tomorrow. The Dr's have said I will need 3 days bed rest after. I'm an internationally and was thinking of flying back home after 2 days - due to flight schedules. Is flying the same as bed rest if hubby can do all the lifting of the bags etc?....Or is this a silly risk?.Can anyone help?

I think you would be fine. Some docs don't even do bedrest so I think as long as you don't lift a finger and don't have to run through airports then I can't imagine why you couldn't leave.

Hey

We got 9 eggs; initially we thought there were only 7 so was happy with 9. Expected lots more but I'm slowly learning I can't control everything! Dr strongly recommended we do MS because with 7/9 eggs and 50% being boys there was a risk we wouldn't have any to implant. What’s a few more $$$$$$. 7 fertilised and on ET we had two blasts to put in. Now it’s the waiting game.

Excellent!! Congratulations! That sounds really good!!

Not that you will need them, but did you have any frozen?

You must be so excited & I can only imagine that every day must drag on forever!
