Need help with timing my attempt next month!

 Hi Ladies,

Could you please tell me when should I BD when TTC a boy?  My attempt will be next month, but I am trying to predict based on this month.  My first +OPK(smiley) was 11:00 pm on CD 14 (Saturday night).  3 + smileys on CD 15 (all day Sunday) then Negative Smiley on CD 16 (monday)  My BBT temp spiked on CD 17 am.  Also, on Sunday afternoon (CD 15) I had sharp pains in lower adbomen for approximatlely 4 hours.  When I checked CP and CM on CD 15 my cervix felt tender and very hot (not sure what this means but I thought I'd include it in case it is relevant.  I am thinking I O'd Sunday or Monday (CD 15 or 16).  Should I BD late Sunday night or Monday morning? That would be late CD 15 or early CD 16?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

it is hard to predict your O based off of this month, unless you are perfectly the same each month it is hard to say.  Ovulation for me occurs on different days each month ranging from cd12-cd15.  If i'm confused by my CM and temps (i don't do OPK's) i can always rely on the feel of my cervix.  seriously gross as it sounds, check your cervix daily get to know the feel of it and that way you know your ovulation.  Ovulation is at the highest and softest point for your cervix.  one woman on here said that for ttc boy it's best to bd the day before O, because if you try to hit O day then you could venture into 0+12 girl territory.
