Stunned....I can not believe People today!!!!!!!

So I had Mommy time today and went to the movies with my friend.  About 1/2 hr before the movie ended I noticed to VERY elderly people walking in....They looked confused.  All of a Sudden the woman fell down the stairs....NO ONE tried to help.  So I waddle my preggo booty over and LIFT her off the floor.  I then walk her and her Husband to seats and help them sit.  She was crying....My Goodness it BROKE my heart.  She said she was okay and needed to sit.  All of a Sudden a Man turns around ans LOUDLY says "BE QUIET".  I wanted to deck him or "accidentally" knock him out with my stomach.  My friend said She fell...He rolled his eyes and pointed to the Screen.  I swear he is Lucky I was still talking to the lady cause I was going to Hurt him.  Then after the movie...I walked back over and helped her up and walked them to their theater...they were in the wrong one.  She started crying again when she saw I was Huge and Pregnant....She asked if she hurt me.  I told her No...she was helping me out and maybe the baby will pop out later from lifting her  I was just stunned NO ONE but me offered to help her.  They ALL just starred at her.  I was a little irritated that No One offered to help me help her.  Ya definitely can not miss my belly.  UGH...just had to vent...Sorry.  Just seems Lots of people have NO common courtesy anymore....It saddens me.

Hopefully the lifting her thing will help.  I have been having even more BH contractions since

That is shocking and so sad!!  I can't believe how heartless some people are.  Good for you for helping.

At least you were there to help her, if you hadn't it could have been even worse on her. I would have made a big show of it and the guy would not have liked how delayed I made everything, but it sounds like you handled it better than I would have. And even though at first she was upset that you had to help being pregnant, your comment may have made her day. I agree that compassion has gotten lost along the way, so many people are so rude and uncaring nowadays, but just when I totally lose hope in humanity, I see a small act of kindness along that way that restores my faith and hope for ultimate good to shine through. Glad you got some Me Time, and glad you were there to help someone in need. Maybe Kharma will reward you with a speedy and smooth delivery.

 Yeap I can believe that. People have no compasion and they have no regards for anything. I am sooo sorry that this has happened. I would have been up in his face saying something to him WHILE I was helping the lady and her husband. Ughhh this pisses me off.... AND the fact that no one tried to help YOU 

 That was so nice of you to stop and help her. I am constantly shocked at how rude and selfish people are. I couldn't imagine not helping someone in need. How horrible and embarrassing for her. I am sure she is thankful for having a loving and caring person around like yourself! Poor lady :(

I am so glad you said you got "mommy time"  before I was put on bed rest my husband gave me money once a month and would watch the kids and let me have "mommy time" but when I asked around to all my girl friends and on this other website I went to NO ONE else did that... I thought that was really sad. I LOOOOOVE my mommy time. anywho... what movie did you go see?

People can be so stupid. I can't believe that jerk would tell her to be quiet.  Thank goodness you were there to help her.  I bet that you made her day.

 I hate people... they are soo selfish. IT drives my crazy!!

My mom works downtown Seattle... rainy, wet , slippery! She was running across the street and slipped and fell in the middle of the street, on a crosswalk. She is very thin, very fragile and sixty years old.  Then the light turned green and three people honked at her to get out of the way as she was trying to get up  . She was soaking wet and hurt her shoulder and knee really bad.  Finally a guy from the other side of the street came to help her but I was so appauled when she told me this.  I wanted to beat those people up!!
