I think its great! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look you chose, if I ever get a daughter i would totally copy you. I think the black looks great in it, and it can be very feminine, these days there are so many cute accessories, picture frames, chandeliers, cute fabrics, etc...!!! My mom is one of those that told me I shouldn't use black for a girl, she is old fashioned in that way.. she also doesn't like baby clothes that has black in it!

I think any color is ok, and black would be cute.

Yes, especially with the theme you have!!!!  I had already bought my crib (black Friday BRU deal) when I found bedding I loved but couldn't use both because the bedding was pink/black and crib was dark brown.  I love what you posted earlier!

If I could afford new nursery furniture, that is what I'd get antique black.  I LOVE it.  I know your nursery will be beautiful.

awww thanks so much ladies Love Ya! My Dad is going to refinish the our crib he was a professional painter part time so I know it will turn out great. This is the dresser I had in mind, I like the detail on the sides it's the prefect height for a changing pad. We would not get the mirror I don't like that corkboard. It won't be too hard to find a matching mirror later when she is older. I also like the bunk beds that match the dresser so later we would get them also.

What do you ladies think is it girlie enough and will it go ok with the room? Here is what the nursery will look like for those who have not seen it...

I think it's cute :) and if you like it then it's perfect.

I just have a different style is all...I have black furniture for my son and I LOVE it for him, his room is adorable, but I really would like to have white if I ever have a DD.  I want her room pink with white furniture...basically ULTRA girlie to the max, haha.

I actually tend to really like pink anyway...and pink, white, and a little purple would be perfect for me.  No blue at all for that room ;)...but that is just my opinion...I really do like the room, just wouldn't chose it for myself is all My Two Cents

I'm sure whatever you end up deciding though, it will be beautiful

I like your idea and the nursery looks beautiful, just since I am dying for a daughter, I have this need for it to be super girlie...hehe My Two Cents

I totally understand my first two have the super girlie room with the white princess furniture. I guess I feel silly haing two princess rooms Happy Wink This is their furniture but two twin princess beds and lavender walls Happy I could get more of this same set but I think maybe it would be too much I don't know though?

There aren't any rules to nursery decorating.  I know plenty of people that do white for boys nurseries too.  I voted *YES* in your poll, and agree that you should go w/ whatever you like!
