FB comment got my wondering.... What do you call your MIL?

I call my MIL "Mom" I love her so much. She is very sweet to me and when she comes over she buys me stuff and cooks and cleans our house

My Mom does the same. Last time she was here she even cleaned the inside of my trash can . My Mom has slight OCD LOL

 I call her "mom" usually, but sometimes I'll call her by her first name.

I call mine by her 1st name.  I love her, but I've never felt close enough to call her mom.  FIL, I did call dad.

I call them by their names.  I don't know anyone that calls MIL and FIL mom and dad though so I would feel weird doing it. It could just be my circle of friends though.  I don't think it's odd that people do it, I just don't know anyone that does.

I call mine by her first name when I'm in her company and "The Dragon" when she's not around...  Or occasionally when she is!  It's kind of a family joke because she spent years calling me "that tart" and actually refused to meet me before I married DH.  First time I ever met my MIL and FIL was on my wedding day AFTER the marriage had taken place unless you count walking past them down the aisle as meeting them beforehand!

I call her by her first name but I hope my boys' wives call me mom.

I call her crazy B*tch.

Kidding. Ok, not kidding. Have not seen her in 5 years...

Call her mom..I am indian, so have no choice..I will be disowned by the family if I called her by her name

I call her mum and FIL dad.....it took me a lot longer to call FIL dad only because the only dad in my life passed away when i was 16 and i was very close to him

I call mine by her first name when I'm around her.......BUT.....when she is not around she is refered to as Monster-in-law!!! LOL!!

I call her what my kids call her, "Grandmommie."

OMG this thread has me realising what a terrible Daughter in Law I am.  I seem to have a phobia of calling my MIL and FIL by their names and I don't call them mum/dad either

I guess I've never had to get their attention by calling them anything - that's shocking I feel so bad!!! lol 

 I call my mil and fil mom and dad. I call them by their first names when i'm talking to my side of the family though or else they think im talking about my actual mom and dad. Everyone else calls my mil "The Warden" but I just think that's too disrespectful... even if it is meant in fun. Plus.. I'm playing it safe.. don't want to piss someone off with the nickname "The Warden"! haha She's actually a very nice person and would do anything to help someone out.. but is also a high school english teacher..and can get intimidating if need be!
