Anyone else fixated by pregnant women?

I am heading towards 44, and and working through the 'fertile years are over' process.  I absolutely loved being pregnant both times. When I see pregnant women I have to stop myself from staring! - and when I chat to pregnant friends I have to stop myself being too intensely interested. I always want to tell them to make the most of it, because it is so special. No pregnant woman is going to want to listen to my impassioned ramblings!

Anyone else have an obsession with this.

I'm not obsessed, but do get a bit of a jealous twinge when I see a pregnant woman.  I enjoyed my pregnancies for the most part, too. 

Not anymore but I was for a time after my last baby although it was more a jealousy thing than anything else.  Now that I've lost weight and workout/run I'm more fixated with skinny women!  LOL  I know that sounds funny but it's true!

I would have listened to you - I also loved being preggers and it IS a fantastic time in your life

so why do you need to hold yourself back?

The other day I were with my oldest son at IKEA , and in line we stood beside a pregnant woman

in her last trimester and a HUGE round belly. I could not help myself but said to her

that she had such a beautiful pregnant belly. She looked happy with that comment -

she smiled back and said that the baby would come any day and we chatted a little after that.

You keep your fixation/obsession wit pregnant women LOL - that is just sweet IMO.

do you know what I really think it really is mind over matter when we are on forums about being a mum and seeing pics of babies and seeing pregnant women everywhere it makes me want to be the same but as soon as I take my focus somewhere else I begin to not want to be pregnant So like you getting fit and stuff has given you a new lease of life and given you something to focus on thats fun other then being pregnant if you know what i mean
