If it weren't for this website.....

 Well I haven't officially decided to go HT yet. I'm probably 90% there. I knew it was possible but I had this impression that it was a lot more radical than it is (which is probably why most people don't really get it). It was this site that is making me realize that I can be okay with it.

 Yes.  I found out about MS in Jan 2004 when they had a cover story about it in Newsweek (or US News).  I was not ready to do it then, but gave it consideration.  

Some other boards (not active anymore) gave me lots of advice and support.  I had already decided to do MS and go HT before I found those boards, but it was nice to connect with people who had BTDT.  

I would have absolutely no clue that it is possible somewhere! I found this site when expecting boy #2 via ultrasound forum and gender dissapointment and then I found this forum which helped me a lot with my GD a turned my sadness to hope for future! Thanks a lot that you exist!

I am not doing HT yet but I am almost sure there's no other way - starting to looking forward to it taking it as an interesting scientifical journey, but first have to get rid of all the "what if"s.....thank god that my DH is 100% for it!

Hmmm!  You know what, I may not have.  I really had to explore a lot of other peoples' journeys (I found the blogs and threads here very helpful) to help convince myself that HT was actually quite doable.  I didn't find this amount of technical and anecdotal info on other GD/GS sites.  And how great is Maureen's HT Survey Results tool!  I used that a lot to figure out my odds. 

Now, my goal is to help others on their quests.  Well, as much as I can until the twin madness starts.

yes--I had a failed IVF/PGD and failed FET before finding ivillage. It was nice to find others like me--made me feel less like a freak. the women on ivillage at that time, helped me stay sane during my last and successful cycle.

No. I definitely felt OK about it because of what I read on here. I learned everything from here.

 Nope. Wouldn't even have known it was possible!

I honestly don't think I would have. I feel so at home on this website and soooooooo much more secure on doing something that is still so new.
