it was a child free by choice website. that isn't strange at all, I have friends that will never have kids and for them I think its great! But what is strange about this forum is everyone is child free for life yet every post was complaints about kids and parents of kids. it was laughable. They were obsessing more about kids than I do! so funny

ya I'm interested now too, lol. I had to read and re-read your post like 4 times. No joke. I'm a little slow sometimes and all I kept thinking was, "how do you get a child for free?" thinking you were talking about an adoption website or something like that. Geez, pg brain already I guess.

You must admit though, if you are a child free couple by choice, you would definately be in the minority...I could understand why they complain about kids. I catch my self in the supermarket thinking, "shut that crying child up" and then I remember, that my kids did their fair share of crying/tantrums.....imagine how irritating it must be for them!
I can't imagine my life without kids though, as much as they do drive me nuts at times!

I have seen this site before too, it is where people/couples chose not to have kids. It's like a club they have meet up and go on trips.
Hey it's their choice right, good for them

I'm not going to post the link because it would give them more google hits, and they would find us. They would not do well with this website. I do support there choice to be child free. I just think its funny that its a child free website and all they do is talk about kids.

yeah, I think maybe some of them are in denial, who knows...I'm sure most of them are happy about their choice and that's fine, I know some people that feel this way. But I really do think that some either can't have kids for whatever reason, and they want to make themselves feel better ya know?

I have a high respect for people who choose to remain childless but I do not take kindly to the child/ parent bashing. If you are choosing to remain childless then be okay with remaining childless. I have come across similar groups before.

It reminds me of when DH and I go on a date and then get irritated about the people out with their kids at an upscale restaurant at 10pm with kids! Now, we have done that before, but it only irritates me because DH and I want to be grown-ups that night! If I am choosing to be without MY kid, I want to be without ANY kids, iykwim. I hate going places that are only 21 and up because of so much drinking and partying and whatnot - that's just not me most of the time - but I don't want to run into other people's kids on date night either. Of course, at the age I'm at, the 22 year olds partying at some bar are like kids to me anyway! LOL

I'm the opposite disneyfan. When I'm on date night and someone has their kids, I start to miss mine! I want to go to their table and ask if I can hold the baby and play with their kids so they can eat! Then I wish I had brought mine so that maybe they could all play together. I know they wouldn't, but it is a thought I have. LOL!

I agree with you here. It also annoys me when we go out with friends and I go through the trouble of getting a babysitter and then our friends bring their kids. This has happened to me a few time so now when there is a function, I am quick to make it known if it is a "kids allowed" event or not. I get some heat for this but I don't care.
