For now this will be a collection of ideas/plans, but I'll post pics once things start coming together.

Bedding:

Wendy Bellissimo's 'Argyle'

Trying to decide on paint colors:

or

Blue Hydrangea                    Blue Jean

For reference, Blue Hydrangea matches the light blue color in the bedding exactly, Blue Jean is one shade darker on the same swatch.

For curtains, I'm thinking:

(sorry, it won't let me save the picture, just the link).

Our crib & changing table/dresser are natural maple. The glider is slightly darker finish and is covered in a dark green upholstery. What does everyone think of the navy blue curtains w/the lighter blue walls? Too much blue? Also, should I go w/the lighter paint or the darker shade? Our bedrooms all tend to be really pastel-y, but I want something that won't look too 'baby-ish' as I won't want to repaint it in 2 years!

Also have an attached bath so would love to see suggestions for bathroom themes as well! I'm thinking something playful. The tile is sand colored, but the counter is blue silestone so I've been wanting to do a beachy sort of blue theme for a while now. This will also serve as a guest bathroom, but I'm o.k. with it looking very 'young' or boyish too.

I love it all Happy

I would do the matching paint with green, tan, or white panels. I like navy but I think it might draw attention away from the crib set.

Green like in the bedding is my first choice for the windows.

A rug that matches.

I see eBay has a lot of room accessories in the argyle print.

I would do a sport themed bathroom something like that would be super cute.

I like the blue jean color.  For the bathroom, I would suggest sailboats/crabs :)  With the lifesaver on the wall as well.

ETA  I just noticed the green in the bedding, I would do green or light tan paint.

Yes! I have the tissue box, wastebasket, nightlight and changing pad cover - I got everything at Marshall's.

The green is really a lime sort of green - not sagey - and my oldest DD's nursery was that shade and while it's nice, I'm all done with it - LOL. I definitely want to paint the walls blue.

Sunny ~ good point about the navy curtains. Definitely something to consider. Hmmmm...

Hey Kelly, thats a BEAUTIFUL crib set!! Agree...and I love Blue Jean as your wall color, very contemporary (it goes well with the curtains you've chosen too)..Here is what I think would look great on the attached bathroom...the colors will go well with Blue Jean wall color too!

Here is a link to a fab site you can buy beach themed bath accessories from( I personally love Ocean Surf By CroscillHappy ) : http://beachhouselinens.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/19_72

ETA: I love Sunnys idea about a matching rug and white panels for the wall!Agree

BB ~ Where is that photo from that you posted? I like that shower curtain a lot but it's not on the site you linked. When I was looking online last night, I showed DH a couple of options and he voted for one w/dinosaurs. So, he's throwing a wrench in the works - LOL!

I'm starting to reconsider green walls w/the navy blue curtains...

I don't want white curtains. That just seems too stark and also dirty when he's a toddler!
