It makes no sense to me why they don't use Egg retrieval date as an ovulation date. That is the most accurate way of determining how old an embryo is, right? You conceive naturally the day you ovulate, so why do the due dates of IVF patients vary so much?? I am always so confused about that. Do Embies grow quicker out of the womb???
if you used your ovulation date as your ER date, your baby(or babies!) will be due around July 6, 2010. I am also thinking that at 5 weeks it is very early to see a HB, so the fact that the other one wasn't there yet doesn't mean anything!
For the record, at 5 weeks 6 days, I had not seen a HB. A week later I saw a HB, but was measuring 2 days later that they originally thought. So my due date changed again!
