I got my SWING - PIC

The Butterfly Sparkle Papasan Cradle Swing.. 
I never splurge on "luxury items", but since it is going to be her sleeping place and day time hang out place, I figured it'd be worth it. I finally found one under $80 (I've been searching Craigslist daily). I got it for $70 (MSRP $160).. and it is in AWESOME condition.. But apparently my DS2 LOVES it, As soon as I had it up, he was climbing in it. And he sat in it, still as can be for 30 minutes, getting rocked, LOL. He is the max weight at 25 lbs... just too funny!! He's huge!!

I found a similar one on CL for my DD2 and she loved it. I went and sold it for $45 after we were done, but I probably could have gotten more.

Normally I won't pay more than 25% of the original MSRP cheap and stingy, I know... but I splurged and got worried because I feel like I'm running out of time..

I think that you got a good deal.
Mine was NIB and I paid $70 for it. It was a slightly older model. The lady claimed that she got two at her baby shower, but I'm thinking that she got it on clearance somewhere and resold it to me. Either way I was so happy!
I'm sure that you'll get lots of use out of it.

very very cute! lol @ august hanging out in there, soo funny! You deserve to splurge sometimes!!! the swing is the only place my ds will nap and he is past the weight limit at 26 pounds!

Glad you ended up getting it! I don't think pictures do it justice, especially the lights in the dark mechanism and the cricket noises. It's the cutest!

Yea... it really is an awesome swing. I actually decided that I wanted the starlight one (same but periwinkle and stars instead of butterflies), just in case I have a boy next.. but I couldn't find it on craigslist, LOL. Oh well... Soo girly and sweet... and I love the songs

I definitely think it was a good idea to buy it. I have the Nature Papsan swing and all of my kids live in it for the first 8 months of their life. Well worth the price!
