When I was using lime douche's I used freshly squeezed limes

Right guys i am still alive after making my douche with bottled lime juice (bought from asda, beside baking items next to lemon juice) and the de ionised battery top up water from halfords (yeah it does say de-ionised on the bottle)

I am a little confused how is best to do the douche... My ph prior to starting was 5.29ph i made up my mixure, ph  of mixture was reading 2.80ph, i heated it to between room and body temperature with a hot water bottle, i lay down propping hips up to siringe 10mls in, some skooshed out , stayed with hips propped for a good 15mins, also inserted moon cup, an hour later i tested ph moon cup was about half full with liquid and ph was reading 2.29ph. thats way low.

would that kill all sperm? is there supposed to be so much liquid I assumedmost would absorb, think i got on way better with the lime douche soaked tampon.

Help i need advice on how to do this and a few more practices. I shall test ph on wakening since liquid poured out of moon cup. see whats happned.

a ph as low as too will kill sperm, it doesn't need to go below 4, hope this helps x

I don't know what happens to CP during AF but during O it should be high, soft and open.

Iwantalilp - Yep I agree with TLM - The pre-douche should just run out. Then its a few ml after bd. I am doing EGS so I just bring my sample down to 4.5 so I only do the pre-bd one. Its a minefield isn't it?

My BF is having her 2nd girl anyday - ohh I can't wait!! Hopefully it will make me broody again! After DS2 2nd birthday I just feel like the time has passed for me

I think its to help you pinpoint when you O when doing BBT, I have charted now for 2 months, I know I ovulate but I cant find a pattern on my charting, I've tried charting in the past and have never found a pattern. Does anyone know how I can get a fertility friend chart, is it something you add on to IG?

Yep most of us use FF. Here is the link. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ can can enter data for past months. Also you will get a education course when you sign up telling you about fertility signs and charting. There is a link telling you how add your chart to IG in your signiture. One mo and I will find it....

  if i'm right ( please chip in girls if i'm wrong) the 10-12ml douche is a pre bd douche to lower ph if its too high and was away any ewcm, this douche is supposed to run out, after bd you insert 1-3mls of lime douche which i think we are suposed to try and keep in but if your using a moon cup it will keep it in anyway.

after my wee experiment I assumed it was maybe suppose to have just rinsed and ran out, so thats ok I get that now, there was no bd so I never followed up douche and obviously when I tested the douche liquid with my cm in the moon cup the ph was too low, so after tipping out and re inserting ph was 4.29 in the morning....

Think the douching plan will have to be an as and when decision. Dependent on what is required,

tbh if there is to be any attempt at all will depend on what happens with af,

ie when it comes after o? I am now at a total loss after being completely thrown with o only happening on cd24, cycle is always between 27 and 29 days, has been since i started tracking in March the only one exception was Aug where I had spotting on cd31, then a whole real heavy af on cd37.

So I am now getting the feeling af is not gonna appear on 12th/13th as I expected hope this is not a repeat of Aug :(

If its late and again o doesn't occur until as late in my cycle dh will be out of the country again and not home until week of xmas. So chance will be gone. :(
