Planning early for MSU ttc boy - need help

I hope I am posting this in the right section so please tell me if I'm wrong. I'm kinda new to this whole thing. I know I may have my cart before the horse here but, if I'm trying to plan a MSu for ttc a boy... I know I need to plan my boy diet. I am 5 months pregnant now... and want to ttc about 3 months after delievering.... is the diet ok while pregnant? How soon should I start it and ... I know I must be on the supplements as well... but for how long? I was also wondering if concieveing close to previous pregnancy tends to sway a certain way? Does anyone have and ideas about this?

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!

you can not do diet when pg.  you can pratice msu when pg but not the diet.  feel free to join the buddy group!

I am planning MSU  for a boy close to the same time you are. I am planning on ttc in summer maybe fall. If you don't mind me asking, were you hoping for a boy this time around too?

With DS1 there was no planning...I can look back now and kinda remember  BD when I could assume it was close to O.... but honestly we weren't even planning so that's just looking back at a calendar and guessing when it took place. My DH drank caffine like crazy back then and I was losing weight on a diet high in protein and veggies.

With DD1 (due in march) I wanted another boy.... so we did the shettles for a boy..( I kinda ate more bananas and avoided dairy...but that's a very loose diet) ..and it's a girl =(   We actually DID something this time... opks and timing....and nope... I never even knew of this site then! I sure wish I would have found it before ttc with #2

If we had money to do PDG I would so do it.... but my DH could care less about the sex either way... so... he won't even discuss it

Next time I'm going to do everything I can to sway boy.... I don't know how much I can control DH.... but I can certainly do what I can on my end. I'm already looking for incubators and microscopes online. I'm going to join the gold group in the last 2 months of this pg so I can get even more help and info. I also think I'm not going to breast feed as long with this one so I can start diet and supps earlier as well as get a more normal cycle. It does look like we'll be ttc BLUE around the same time... I think june or july maybe...maybe a little later.... we'll see once I'm there!

I am sorry you aren't getting a boy this time around. I have 1 DS and I wasn't planning for that either, but I DTD close to O and DH and I both have a very boy friendly diet. There is no way for me to tell for sure, but I think my hormones are good for a boy too. I didn't find this site until after I was pregnant.

Anyway, I also have the dream of 3-5 boys. Probably only 2 maybe 3 kids though because of DH (unless we win the lottery). When I was first pregnant with DS I was an absolute wreck worried it was going to be a girl. I DO NOT want any daughters. That is why I am planning on doing MSU. I already have my microscope, pH tester and incubator. I have been spending several months taking in the info and researching.

Maybe with more time on here you will be able to better understand what things might have gotten you your DS as well as your DD to learn from that. Lots of learning to do from this site. Apparently our body chemisty can change after each pregnancy so right now I am trying to figure out if I have changed or if I have stayed the same.

PGD isn't an option for me either because of cost.

hi ladies good luck to both of you, I just found out today that I am having a DD, which is Ok with me, i am not that upset, I was swaying for a couple of months and did not get prego, so I kind of took a break and opppsss i was pregnant, which was a nice suprise. anyways, i am due in the begining of Apirl, planning to do MSU for a boy right after, maybe breastfeed for a couple of months and then stop to start the diet and start practicing for my MSU attempt, just hopine DH would agree,

so it seems all three of us are planning on msu boy around the same time, we could hang out together pm each other, and start getting our equimpment ready for our life time expermint  best of luck to all of you.

Do you mind if I ask you want kind you bought ? (Microscope, incubator and ph tester) was the ph tester digital? I tried to start my collection as well.... We should ALL keep in touch , it's great to have support for stuff like this! I this with this pregnancy I did timing very well.... and I took extra potassium in food form....but it just didn't happen.... obviously it wasn't a perfect sway because I had very little knowledge at the time! Oh well... I'll give 100% next time to MAKE SURE I did my best!

Hi there, well till now all what i have are the supplements but i will be adding more, and i have bought the hannah digital ph meter, and some other stuff cant think of right now, they are all put in a box under my DD's bed till may or so...

microscope and incubator , waiting little to buy that did not decide on one yet, incubator will be from ebay for sure, i think i saw one for 20 $ or so but micrsocope i have to shop around and get some suggestions.

yeah i know what you mean when you say it was not  a perfect sway, mine was not at all, we dtd 3 days before 0 then the day before 0 and on 0 day i think the timing was horrible, we stopped supplements and diet that month so let us say it seems that i swayed girl LOL,

Which one did you get( PH  tester)?? There are so many models! I'm suprised that they look to ne around $34 -45... not bad... Are you getting the egg incubator for 3 eggs? Like the dome shaped one? I was thinking about that. I'm so cunfused about the 45 degree angle thing on the test tube! I wish someone who has gotten a good boy sway would snap a demo picture so I could understand better. I wanted to get the microscope that can hook up to the computer...but I have no idea on cost... please let me know if you find out how much it is. Does anyone know of a "clip" where we can see what the different swimmers look like for a sort? I want to be able to know what to look for... like the super fast X and the straight Y's! Oh boy! lol

Which one did you get( PH  tester)?? I got the back and white one, i forget the model number but it is not that great to be honest with you i think i am gonna buy the newer model which is hanna 99104 i thin it is read and black all the ladies love it here

yes i think i am getting that one , i saw it on ebay it is a yellow dome shapped glass on top

same here, i am confused about that as well, i think you have to keep the TT in a 45 degree angle while it is in the incubator, 

. I wanted to get the microscope that can hook up to the computer.? i will as well, and i will do alot of practices i need to know the differencs for sure so as they say practice makes perfect :) ..but I have no idea on cost... please let me know if you find out how much it is
