groovy baby:Waiting for update from MM. I have been looking for her nub shot all morning. Anyone knows what time she was going to be back?
Sorry! My appt wasn't until 3 pm, and afterwards we went to get the girls, groceries, then had to cook, etc, etc.
Anyway, I will scan my nub shot tomorrow. It was pretty awesome! The perinatologist that did the scan was all into the nub thing and zeroed in on it and showed us the picture and asked if we wanted his opinion. Heck ya! He says 70% sure it is a boy 
We go back in 4 weeks, as he didn't like the way that the baby's brain was looking in the scan - but said that was probably due to the way the (very stubborn) baby had his/her head pressed up against the transducer! The whole appt took forever since it wanted to sleep and kept refusing to be jiggled into a profile position. We should hear back the results from the blood work in a week - the NT thickness looked good. The rest of the baby looked great too - we could see all the fingers, and it looked like they were right up in his/her face (another thumb sucker??). I measured a little ahead on the dates. I am 12+4 and the baby measured 13+1
DH is excited, but doesn't get the whole nub thing. I'm just crossing my fingers that the doc was right (oh, and the nurse that did most of the exam confirmed that was what she thought too)!
