I don't know if I should call it a chemical or a miscarriage. Last night I had some brown spotting but I didn't get too worried about it. Then, after trick or treating I started to get more and by 11pm it was red and more of it. I also realized that my boobs weren't tender anymore. I called the dr. and she told me to just rest and if the bleeding got heavier and I started cramping I should go to the ER. So, at 5:15am I woke up and had a big clot in the toilet. Dh took me to the ER where they did an abdominal and vaginal u/s and blood work and they found that my hcG level was only 9 and nothing looked like I was PG. The dr. called it a chemical. I guess when I think of chemical I think of when you take an HPT early and then AF comes on time or w/in a couple of days. I'm having a hard time thinking of this as the same thing because I was 2 days late of my latest starting time. I usually start at 12-14DPO and this was 16 DPO when I took the test. Last night was 10 days after AF was due. So, whatever you call it, I'm not PG. It was so surprising since I've never experienced this with 4 kids. Now, we will have to try again. We'll try in either Dec. or Jan., depending on how my cycle is and when I'd be due.
