if you are clotting, then the body is thinking your baby is a foreign object.  you won't be able to see this, you'd have to have a test for it.  and aspirin or heparin injections would correct this. 

I'm not sure of all the testing that you can do for women as I am not a RE but I would suggest a male sperm test FIRST, cause its the cheapest test to do, then run blood work on hormones, the clotting and anything else they think...

i did indeed just ovulate tonight, going to get in one more attempt ;) and I cannot find my thermometer to confirm temps in the morn.  boo.  off to bed, I am so achey!

As for me.....    I am out before I even began this month! I am right on track to have another super short cycle. AHHHHHH I'm so upset.

In August I had a 19 day cycle where I started spotting at CD16. My temps were high the entire cycle and that is happening again. I'm only on CD 8 and my temp this am was 98.6. What the heck is happening to me! I am not sick, so I have no idea why my temps are so high this early. My sleep pattern hasn't changed.

I feel so defeated. This would have been my 6th month TTC, but now it looks like I will be moving on to 7 months. I feel like TTC is turning me into a negative person. I'm losing hope.

I have my annual GYN appt next week, and I don't even know what to ask to be tested for. Progesterone? FSH issues? Lining issues? I'm 35 and have hypothyroid (normal levels on medication), and very light short periods. Thanks for reading this. I know how hard ttc can be, it is the hardest thing to do emotionally. I'm sorry you are having these troubles. I don't know what to suggest about testing but I'm sure your doc will know what to do. they will have come across women with issues like yours lots of times and will know exactly what to do. It is great that your appt comes next week, good timing! They will give you some answers or at least a way forward. Hope you start feeling a bit better soon.

I've never heard about the clotting problem. I'll talk about that with him. I'm not sure about the getting his count checked...is that only because it's the cheapest? He'll probably tell me that I'm crazy. He will go into his technical thinking mode...he is in good health, good body weight while I am over weight with hormone issues & have had issues getting pg previously. With ds2, we had tried for over a year & the dr that I had at the time said that I might have had pcos (even though I was sure that I was Oing fairly regularly). She put me on metformin and I got pg the 1st month. Does that give you any thoughts?

Lisa, I think you need a progesterone and estrogen test.  your hormones have to be off if you have that short of a cycle.  you will most likely need a full month to take meds and even them out. 

I think you should consider the meds met again too.

PD, just because someone looks healthy doesn't mean they are.  in my case, skinny hubby, eating well but a social drinker and smoker.  I knew I was fertile as I have children prior with one shot. I think when you are trying to conveive and its not happening, its about BOTH of you,not just you. if hubby is squimsih to do the test, we just took the cup home, I gave him his fun and drove right after to drop off his test.  no biggie.  in a week or so I knew.  and it wasn't what we ever expected.  so things can change greatly w a man or a woman in months or even a year.

 Good evening girls. Well I'm not so happy today, My temp went down this morning Af is creeping up again, Ive been having some mild cramping this afternoon, But anyway off i went to the centre and bought THREE tests and some pre natals. 

I gave in and took a test as soon as i got home, I had held my pee pee for about three hour on the way home from work etc. Not long i know, Ended in a BFN :(

babymaker~ We'll see what I can get my dh to do. SU was a stretch for him to do...going to 4 was a stretch too.  He was doing all of this so I would be happy (even though he wanted a dd too). I am afraid that he'll think that we already have 3 so if it's not happening naturally (sort of, LOL) then it was not meant to be. I am pretty sure that I can talk him into it but I'm not sure how long it will take....only time will tell.

 Sorry to read about your chemical Pd, I'm going to have to wait it out a little longer. But im sure Af will be here tomorrow. I wont be due to ovulate again in till middle of December :( Seems such a long time away. I really dont want to have a baby born so late in to the year next year, 

i might give ttc a rest intill May of June next year. Ill have to see what DH says.  

Maybe i should just lighten up a little and not take ttc so seriously and it will happen when its ready.
