I just called and they said they won't even attempt it til 13 weeks. She knew I was after gender without even saying it. LOL.

So, at the 12 week, I'll ask for a nice profile shot and see if they'll be nice to me. Then after that, I can go get a private scan if I need it still. OK, I feel better now. Whew...

Good, that made your decison easy. I am gald you are relieved.

After your post to me about being u/s buddies I called my doctor and told them I changed my mind and wanted  the blood test and u/s that tests for abnormalites..like downs syndrome and what not. So now I am scheduled for another u/s today at 12:50! Wish me luck!! I hope my baby looks healthy and I get a good nub shot this time! I am 13wk 5 days. I really hope this helps me not obssess anymore. I am making myslef crazy.

I originally said that I would be very happy with a boy and I am starting to fall out of denial alittle and realize how truely sad I would be if this wasn't a girl. I had a dream the other night that I went to the bathroom and my baby fell out ...I looked down and it was a girl, she was alive and so I pushed her back up inside me and layed down in my bed to try and keep her from falling out. It was heartbreaking. 

Rachel - Poor you - what a horrible dream! I had some nasty dreams when PG too. All was fine though. It just your mind trying to work out what has happened to you with the MC. You have made it this far and I am sure it will all be ok. Good luck with the scan - I will be thinking of you.

I think I am going to give IG a break for a while. I should have Ovd by now but no temp rise. DH swimmers are hardly alive so I think we may have fertilty issues. I am not done, but our bodys maybe. Good luck to all and 'See' you all in few weeks

What a dream!  I agree with maybebabythree it is just your mind sorting through everything.......  I have had some pretty interesting dreams as well since I have started swaying!!!

OMG, we are both on the west coast and it's 1:20 here, so.....She should be in or done with her scan by now. Waiting Waiting!!! I can live vicariously thru you for this week.

Nicole- I can so imagine how hard you must want that scan. I'd be totally the same. Really pleased your at peace with your decision on that one. I'm looking forward to your next scan. Rachel- How exciting. I want to hear any news from the scan and a fresh picture. hope everything is good sweetie. You are in my thoughts xx

GOOD LUCK!!!   I am so excited for you girls.  Maybe I don't need to get pregnant at all, like you said I can live vicariously through you ladies!!!

yes, you do need to get preg. you all do!!

but, I do feel better after hashing it all out, voicing my fears and guilts and just sort of realizing that Rachel gets to go today because she is further along and my turn is next. I keep telling myself it's the last surprise before the actual birth so it's early to find out anyway. I'm fairly confident we will get a good guess next week at the NT.

I hope these are better. The first one the doctor said he didn't see a "nub" he thought the umbilical chord was int he way. I think I do see one though. The second one is a toilet shot and he thinks it's a girl. He says he knows they both have "nubs" at this age but but he expected to see more of a penis if it was a boy. Please help me I am going crazy! I already posted them in the u/s forum.
