Hi ladies!  There hasn't been much action here lately, so I'm trying to get things going!  How is everyone?  Where in your cycles are you?  How are all our ttc obsessor 'graduates' feeing?

I went for a scan today after 8 nights of meds.  I have one follicle on my left ovary measuring 12.9 and one on my right measuring 9.5.  I also have smaller ones on each ovary.  I am hoping to have three mature follicles at trigger, but IDK if that will hapen.  KMFX for two, though.  I am concerned about the size difference in the two I have and the fact that they are both on the smaller side.  I can't wait for my call from the nurse with my instructions.  I will have lots of questions for her, LOL.     

Parousia~ I can add you without a problem...when is af due?  I looked at your chart and wasn't even sure if you Od or not. How long have you been ttc?

wsb~ I will KMFX that you will have at least 1 great follice to get released, hopefully 2-3.  I'm sure you do have tons of q's...I would too.

Unfortunately, I am only on cd5 so far.  I still have anywhere from 10-15 days before my O day. I have a Dec 2 appt with my ob & will be asking him for some help.  I have this feeling that something is wrong and I need to get it figured out.  I have a post where I have asked people a few q's as I'm trying to get prepared for that appt. I'm just not sure how to approach him, what to say or not to say, whether or not I should actually take a break, etc.  If I don't get pg this cycle, I'm not sure if I will be able to attempt next month considering that we will be visiting my family for Christmas at that time. It would be my last chance for a late summer/early fall baby.  I'm not too crazy about having a baby in the Chicago winter weather...too many bugs going around at that time. Kwim?

PD - Hope your dr. can help you out and get you pg soon!  I saw your other thread.  I don't think you should tell him about the swaying.  I kinda told my doc, but all the things I did to ttc a boy were things that aided in getting pg in general.  For ttc a girl, you are doing things that hinder it - kwim.  I would just say that you have bben ttc for 7 months and not been successful.  If your not gonna be around for x-mas and you'll be O'ing then, skip December.  I know how important the EGS and having a girl is for you.  It's always a debate about how bad you want a baby vs. how bad you want your desired gender.  But, if it were me, I'd start ttc again in january.  I know you wanted baby to be born on warm weather, then you'd have to wait several months.  Do you really want to wait?

blessed and mummy - Is the m/s going away?  Either of you showing yet? 

I heard from my nurse.  My estrogen only went up to 162 from 153 .  They are keeping me on the same dosage of meds for tonight and Friday night.  I will be going in foe monitoring again on Saturday.  I am hoping I have 1 or 2 follicles catch up with my bigger one.  I really wanted two or three eggs to shoot at - kwim?  for my eggies until I get checked on Saturday.

I went for my monitoring this morning. I have 2 follicles on my left ovary. The lead follicle is 18mm and the smaller one is 13.5. I have a couple on the right ovary that are under 12. My e2 level is at 232. The nurse told me that the RE instructed me to do the gonal-f 75u again tonight and go in for monitoring again in the morning. The nurse said my RE is hoping the smaller follicle will catch up and she thinks I will most likely trigger tomorrow night. I am praying for the smaller one to really grow tonight and the bigger one to not grow too much, LOL. I would really like at least 2 eggs!  Please for me if you can! 

wsb~ I am so excited for you! I really hope that your 2nd one catches up! FX!!! 

How is everyone else doing?

I am thinking that I might be at the very start of my fertile period...which is EARLY!!! I am only slightly freaking. Cervix is medium-high, soft but still closed. I'm not exactly sure when I will O, so we'll see.  It's usually between 17-20...but I'm thinking it will be earlier.  The last time that I had my chemical...it threw me into an early O.  I'm kind of hoping that it will move me into an early O so I will be closer to the beginning of the new moon.

hi ladies, glad to see you are all doing ok, ive been away this weekend so havnt had a chance to talk or catch up on the news. Hi to the new girls,you are all very welcome here. As for me, im on cd24 so 5 days till af is due, i have sore bb's and slight nausea,and bloating again, it is the same for me everymonth though, so not getting to excited yet . I think i will sneek a test in tomorrow though, ive been so patient over the 6 months ttc not to test early, but i have a test at home and might not beable to use it! Take care

PD - Hope you do O early cause I know waiting for O SUCKS! 

consumed by pink - I usually try to wait until about 10dpo to test, but I often don't make it that long .  How many dpo are u? 

I had monitoring again this morning.  Ultrasound showed that my follicles had not really grown at all .  So, I guess depending on my bloodwork they will either have me trigger with the 1 mature follicle or stim again tonight and go foe another monitiring in the am.  As much as I want to attempt already, I wouldn't mind waiting so that I could possibly have two follicles instead of 1.  I'll let you girls know what they say.

Alright well this is my second attempt this months since I O'd on Nov 1st, and I have a short cycle, I'm getting a second chance.  My O date should be Nov 27th, but I think it will be a bit early, probably Nov 25th....

GL to everyone still going this month, hopefully the second time for me is better!

wsb~ I'm sorry that it hasn't grown....I'll keep my fx that you get time to get some more meds in to bring that 2nd follicle to a better size.

To those of you in the 2ww-How soon are you going to test?

Well, it seems that my O is definitely coming early. My cp is really high today and I felt a little twinge this morning on my right side. I'll be doing a SU this evening. Keeping my fx that I'm Oing and not getting stuff in there too early.

Well ladies, I heard back from the nurse.  My RE wants me to trigger tonight .  I guess the lead follicle grew from 18 to 18.6, but the smaller one has not grown - still 13.5.  The nurse says that they sometimes see mature eggs come from follicles that are 13 - 14. so there is still some hope that I will have two.  They said I can take the trigger between 5pm and 10pm.  I am thinking I will take it on the later side so that the smaller folicle has a chance to grow some more.  I have also heard that the trigger itself helps the follicles grow some more and mature.  So, I am  a mature egg pops out of that smaller follicle. 

I have been having cramping this afternoon that may be O pain.  So, I'm wondering if my body is gearing up to release the egg on it's own.  I think I'm gonna take an opk just to see if it's positive.  They did test my lh with the bloodwork this morning, but I'm wondering if it's spiked since the blood draw.

They told me to attempt tonight and tomorrow night and if possible the next night, too.  Dh would have no problem with that, but I'm afraid of doing things that I know will sway girl, kwim?  We dtd last night and I inserted an instead cup directly after bd and kept it in all night.  We also bd on Friday morning and popped in the instead cup for about 8 hours.  So, we should have some sperm up there now.  I'm wondering if I should bd tonight or just wait until tomorrow night so we will have a 48 hour abstinence (boy territory).  The nurse said the trigger should make me O within 36 hours.  IDK what to do!!!  I don't wanna NOT bd tonight and O tomorrow and then bd AFTER O.  But I don't wanna be now in cause that will put me in girl territory.  WWYD?
