f.r.o.g.:I think if swaying worked for you - we tend to believe, if it did not - you dont believe.
On this note, I just want to say that my first u/s was wrong and I thought I was expecting DD #3 despite a pretty great sway. I was disappointed of course, but when someone posted they think it's 'dumb luck' meaning that people who sway are 'dumb' enough to believe in it, I really took offense to that. I didn't stop believing in swaying just because it didn't work for me. The fact is, I know enough people who it DID work for that even if it didn't work for me, it doesn't mean it doesn't work, it just means I feel into that 20-30% of people (or whatever you think the percentage is) who it didn't make enough of a difference for. So, I guess I just want it to be clear that some people still believe in swaying as a concept even if it didn't work for them. Obviously, my first u/s was wrong and I can now say that swaying did 'work' for me twice.
I totally agree with this. I've looked at the research, and I think that swaying works. But I don't think it works 100% of the time, and some people are going to end up in the 20-30+% who it doesn't work for no matter how perfect their sway was. If swaying works for me and I get another girl, I'll think it works, and if it doesn't work for me, and I get a boy, I'll still think it works.
