Need help with DS First Birthday cake idea and present....(Possible GD Warning)

 I thought i would post this on here instead of the boy zone hoping i would get more answers here....

My DS first birthday is tomorrow (29th) and i am having his Bday party this Sunday. At first i was going to do a soccer theme and make a mini cupcake just for hime which would look like a soccer ball. And i was going to do this because i was hoping that my Aunty, who arrived from Chile, would be able to find DS a little Chilean Soccer jersy but with Chile in the world cup next yr it was next to impossible to find anything that small...I suppose i could still do that idea but was hoping to have a matching outfit.....

And also need help with a special toy for him....I have so many toys for his age group already, from the girls, that i really dont need any more and he is still too young for the boy toys...any help on what 'boy toy' i could get for a 12mth old would be greatly appreciated.... it doesnt really have to be a boy toy but i guess i am so excited to be able to buy a boy toy for a change ...

any ideas will be greatly appreciated

a Tonka truck!  :) My DS loved his that we got him for his first birthday.

Soccer would be a cute theme!  with Halloween you should be able to find a costume next week pretty cheap.

 Thanks for that ladies...after hrs of shopping i found this toy for DS...I think its heaps cute and def very boyish

And i'm thinking of using this idea for DS cake but obviously change the colours a little ...

AAHHH, the perfect "boy" toy!!!  He will love it always!! My son found his old hammer when we moved (I had saved it and when I had my daughter she loved it!!) and it is now in his room on his tv stand!! and he is 14!! (He said it is just there for the memories!!!)

My DS6 LOVES his and his big brothers LOVE pushing him around on it!!

we were thinking of getting this car for him but he kept sliding onto the floor...still too little but hopefully for christmas...i think its heaps cute

We got this same car for our 2 year old for her 1st birthday although she couldnt really push it herself her sisters pushed her around in it and she loves it. Actually just tonight they were all pushing each other in it and she couldn't stop laughing she really loves it...Happy birthday to your little man!!! Love the cake!!!
