Has Anyone Used Progesterone Cream to Lengthen LP?

You may have seen a previous post on here for my concerns about having a 9 day (avg) luteal phase.  I've read that Progesterone can be more powerful than B6 at lengthening the LP in many women.  Has anyone here used progesterone cream to do this?  I would just take it during the 2ww because I think it sways girl if taken before O, just like B6 (right?)  Anyway, just curious if anyone has had success with the cream.

I did. It lengthened my also 9 day lp to about 12 days. I used this more powerful cream I bought from michaela. I still have one jar if you are interested in it. The kind from the store only gave me an extra day.

I had the same problem...8-10 day LP.  The first month I used the progesterone creme I got pregnant so I have to think it made a huge difference.  Just be sure then if you get a BFP that you continue to use it for 12 weeks.  If you don't, use for 14 days and then stop.  I was sure to buy the kind that says bio-identical.  I bought it at Whole Foods...

 so the bio-identical kind is the most powerful stuff?  I don't think we have a whole foods in the area....I wonder if I could buy it online?

update: Oh n/m I'll be going to IL next month and they have one in the area I'll be going :). 

 

Let me know if the bio-identical is the kind I'm looking for, and if there is anything in the ingredient list that I should avoid.  THANK YOU!!!!!!!

The kind that I have is Kokoro Women's Balance Creme Natural Progesterone.  Bio-Identical Natural Progesterone USP (1,020 mg).  It cost me $21.99.  I  actually saw the Emerita right next to it and have heard this is a good one too.  I think it was more expensive and I thought the ingredient list was better on the one I bought.  Otherwise though I have heard good things. After talking to the vitamin girl at Whole foods we went with this one.  It's in a blue and white box.  I think if you hit a natural food store of any kind, they probably carry a good product.  The key is to look for USP Natural Progesterone not synthesized.  Good luck.  I wish I had tried the creme earlier than month 6!  I was nervous about it and also knew if I did do it and got pregnant I'd have to put it on twice a day for 12 weeks.  It's not bad at all though.  Well worth not stressing about a short LP.  Be sure not to start it until after O because it could keep you from ovulating.  Good luck!  Annika
