MSU v. TBM

Hello mamas! 

Has anyone kept record of everyone's success/failure with the ttc boy techniques?  I am a few months away from ttc boy, and was wondering if one technique has a better record than the other.  Thank you!

Thanks, Tamera.  Visited the Buddy post for Oct and saw a list for MSU but nothing for TBM.  Does this mean no one tried it?  Is there not a "master" tally for each technique?

This applies to the topic so I figured I'd post my question here. I finally got EW to float using Pre-seed! I've only tried it once, and it worked. So I still need to keep at it and get it working on a consistent basis. My big fear is that the EW will sink or it will mix slightly while in the incubator. Just worst case WHAT IF. What if it is THE attempt and it mixes slightly. MSU is negated, right? Would you, if you were like me on the fence b/n MSU and TBM, just scoop up the whole mixture and do a TBM attempt? Or is that worse than just doing TBM on its own?

if it were me I would skip that attempt, but tbm isn't a bad idea either

Thanks, Tamara! I was so pumped the preseed worked woohoo. DH wants to put off ttc for yet another cycle. So more time to perfect everything. Ok glad I have TBM as a worst case. I guess I could skip the attempt but that just seems sad :(

No way the preseed mixed with semen made your egg whites float?!  Thats amazing!!!

Yes! My EW finally floated!!! I did 3 drops (they're pretty large drops). The pre-seed seemed to float on top of the semen and then the eggwhite floated on top of that, but then the preseed started to sink down the sides into the semen (which I think is okay, right?) I'm going to experiment again tonight hopefully. I want to get my light fixed so I can make sure there are still sperm living and the sort looks good.

Thanks for the link, Tamera.  Has anyone ever put together a grand "success" list?  It's hard to know which technique to do and if one technique had more success over the other, it would be a much easier decision!
